RENOVATED IN APRIL 2021
The Portanuova Bed and Breakfast, located in the heart of the historic center near the Roman archaeological excavations, takes its name from the ancient gateway to the city of Vasto, formerly known as Histonium "Roman Municipality" (one of the most beautiful and welcoming locations on the Adriatic coast; rich in tourist, historical, cultural, and gastronomic resources) and included in the Vasto Archaeological Tourist Itineraries.
The B&B offers free Wi-Fi throughout the property, a kitchen for breakfast, and three rooms with private bathrooms:
- First floor: double room, color TV, en-suite bathroom, air conditioning-fridge-hairdryer;
- First floor: quadruple room, color TV, en-suite bathroom, air conditioning, autonomous heating, fridge, hairdryer;
- Second floor: double/twin room for single use, color TV, en-suite bathroom, air conditioning, autonomous heating, fridge; crib available for guests with small children.
Covered and air-conditioned terrace available for guests.
Guests will enjoy full independence and freedom of schedules, including breakfast.

The property is a short walk from the center and the owner is very kind. Excellent value for money. The property is not suitable for those who have difficulty with stairs because the rooms are on multiple levels without an elevator.

I booked several rooms for guests and myself on the night of July 2nd, and we were all pleasantly surprised by everything, including myself. The rooms were clean and tidy, the welcome was to our liking as well as the breakfast and the entire stay. The value for money is absolutely average.
