In the historic center of Ortona, La Dimora di Tommaso Apartment is a Historic Residence Bed and Breakfast that offers guests the authentic atmosphere of the villages just a stone's throw from the sea.
The only structure in Ortona recognized by the Abruzzo Region and included in the ABRUZZO BIKE FRIENDLY cycling circuit.
The B&B consists of two independent apartments: Dimora Francesco and Dimora Chiara for the exclusive and private use of guests.
Each apartment has an independent entrance and consists of a living room with sofa bed, kitchen, double bedroom and en-suite bathroom.
Free parking in front of the structure, except on Thursday mornings for the weekly market. A few steps away there is a paid multi-storey guarded car park.
Breakfast, if requested, is served in the bar near the structure.
The Bed and Breakfast is equipped with a water tank and autoclave to ensure a continuous supply, given the water shortage in the area.
In just a few minutes you can reach the beaches, nature reserves, rocky coasts and experience the charm of the wonderful Costa dei Trabocchi.
The only BIKE FRIENDLY accommodation facility in Ortona, it also offers cycle tourists some services including:
- bookings even for just one night
- flexibility for breakfast
- safe storage for the bicycle

We had a lovely time staying at Lucia's apartment. Lucia's hospitality stood out to us in so many ways! She was extremely responsive on WhatsApp, providing information about the area and our arrival. Moreover, she offered to pick us up by car from the train station and dropped us off there when we left! Despite the language barrier, we managed to have a warm exchange and get all the information we needed. We highly recommend Lucia's kindness and authentic, warm hospitality.

If I could, I would give a higher score. The apartment is in the very center of Ortona, quiet and equipped with every necessary comfort, including a personal care kit, washing machine, a fully equipped kitchen, a comfortable bed and a small sofa at the entrance. The owner was extremely helpful and attentive to every need; she welcomed us with professionalism and great warmth. We felt at home even though we stayed for very little time. I recommend this apartment to anyone who wants to visit Ortona and its beautiful surroundings.

We had a very pleasant stay at the Dimora di Tommaso, where we were warmly welcomed by Lucia. She told us about the house and its history and suggested places to see in the area. Typical location, tastefully and lovingly cared for by the owner. It has everything you need. Very clean and centrally located, strategically close to the important areas of the city. Such an amazing property in historic Ortona. We were sorry that we had so little time to spend there. Lucia couldn't have been more helpful and the place was spotless and very comfortable. If it had an aircon unit in the bedroom then it would have been perfect!
