Description

Rinaldo's House is a family-run Bed and Breakfast, nestled in the tranquility of a sunny village on the Abruzzo coast, Pineto, 50 meters from the sea. In the village, this cheerful villa has always been known as "Rinaldo's house," an tireless and stubborn farmer, but with a tender heart and exceptional intelligence.

An ideal place for tourists who want to discover the beauty of Abruzzo and Pineto, as well as enjoy peace, relaxation, and the sea, as it is located in a quiet village with easy access, just a stone's throw from the sea and a short distance from Gran Sasso d'Abruzzo (for those who love the mountains..)
The philosophy of the owners, who directly manage the structure, is to accommodate tourists in the best way possible at affordable prices, make them feel at ease, and help them get to know this splendid region.

The Bed and Breakfast has four bright, comfortable rooms furnished in a modern style. Each room has its own exclusive bathroom. Access to the room is completely independent. In your room, you will find air conditioning, a refrigerator, WiFi, LED TV, linens, a hairdryer, and complimentary toiletries.

The room is thoroughly cleaned every 3 days, with a change of all towels, mats, and sheets.

Breakfast is served in the annex next to the pool and can be enjoyed outdoors during the warm season. We will delight you with fresh and delicious pastries.

The use of the pool is allowed during designated hours for all Bed and Breakfast guests. Next to the pool, you can enjoy the sun on loungers or on the grass in our well-maintained garden.

Guests have access to an information corner with maps and brochures of the area, but we, the owners, would be more than happy to show you the beauty of the surroundings.

The proximity to the Adriatic Cycle Path makes a bike ride a must! That's why our facility provides bikes, information, and maps of the area.

Reserved and guaranteed on-site parking is available for at least one car per room.

The village of Scerne is peaceful yet well-equipped. You can enjoy equipped beaches, restaurants, bars, and beach resorts (200 m from the Bed and Breakfast). All types of commercial activities are within walking distance, without the need for a car.

We, the owners, directly manage the property, and we strive to warmly welcome anyone who comes to visit us and wants to get to know a bit of our Abruzzo.

During hot summer mornings, breakfast is served outdoors under a beautiful wooden gazebo, next to the pool. We offer both hot and cold beverages, from milk to juices, single-portioned jams and packaged products, but our homemade pastries are the highlight, from soft donuts to muffins, to less traditional and more original sweets, to satisfy every palate.

Among the hot beverages, in addition to coffee, barley, and milk, we also serve hot chocolate for the little ones.

On the table, seasonal fruits and yogurt are always available, as well as a wide selection of teas, honey, light jams, and, worth trying, the white melon grown in our garden, 100 meters from the Bed and Breakfast, with no addition of pesticides, only water, good soil, and plenty of sunshine for the summer season. However, upon request - and at no additional cost - the buffet can also be complemented with savory snacks, fresh bread, and excellent salted butter.

Gigi and I met in Milan, where we were both university students. He is from Apulia, I am from Abruzzo.

We both loved Lombardy and deeply experienced Milan, but then our roots called us back south. Because your homeland is in your blood and you can’t forget it.

Above all, after travelling and getting to know other realities, each one of us know they can give back something good to the places we grew up in.

So we came back to Abruzzo, in the street where I was born, in the house, courtyard, farmland of my grandfather. We turned an old, but fascinating, farmhouse near the beach in a nice, fresh and sweet-smelling place.

We enjoyed renovating grandpa’s old tools and putting them around the courtyard; we turned the henhouse into the breakfast room. We used the image of my childhood memories, grandpa sleeping under the shadow in summer, as our logo. We painted the rooms, met local producers to buy our breakfast products, cut the grass and fixed the bikes.

While we did all this, we rediscovered Abruzzo, a beautiful, strong and gentle region to fall in love with.

Our establishment is located in the municipality of Pineto, in the small village of Scerne, directly on the coast. The beach is about 250 meters away.

Within walking distance, you can find restaurants serving meat and fish, as well as pizzerias, shops, a pharmacy, a tobacco shop, a church, a playground, bars, beach resorts, and much more. The village station is about 400 meters away (Adriatic line).

At 200 meters, next to the sea, there is the Adriatic Cycle Path, a characteristic cycling and pedestrian path that connects the village to Pineto.

Roseto degli Abruzzi is just 3 km away.

Stayed in June 2022. New structure, very well maintained and very clean, both in the common areas and in the room. The pool is very beautiful. Breakfast is great, both sweet and savory and very abundant. Also useful is the free bike rental service, which allows you to enjoy the cycle path along the entire coast. Carla is very helpful in providing information about possible excursions in the area and restaurants for dinner. The proximity to the railway line is negligible (the passage of trains in the room is not disturbing). In summary, everything is OK and worth recommending.

New and well-kept structure in a convenient location, with spacious and clean rooms, equipped with every comfort: upon arrival, a entry code is assigned that allows you to move around in total autonomy and without the inconvenience of keys. Carla, the owner, stands out for her availability and courtesy, always ready to provide attention and information. Varied and plentiful breakfast, clean pool, free use of bicycles. Small attentions for the guest left in the room and particular attention to respecting anti-Covid measures. Unfortunately, the train passes very close, but it is inevitable as the entire area is crossed by the railway. Absolutely recommended.

Exceptional welcome, cleanliness, and management of the property. Carla goes out of her way to please you. The pool is also very clean. Breakfast is simple, but with quality products (homemade cakes, pastries, and pastries). Bikes are always available. On the day of my husband's birthday, she made him a small cake. Thanks again for the pleasant vacation. We will return.

Io e mio figlio ci siamo trovati veramente bene, accoglienza familiare e trattamento superlativo. Il B&B è nuovissimo e pulitissimo, con rapporto qualità/prezzo eccezionale. Particolare menzione ai gestori, ci hanno trattato con mille attenzioni, come fossimo non dei semplici clienti ma degli amici!Strutture così sono da prendere come esempio.

Io e il mio fidanzato abbiamo alloggiato in questo B&B per la giornata del BBDay. Dopo aver parcheggiato all'interno della struttura (ogni stanza ha un proprio posto macchina), siamo stati sistemati nella stanza rossa, una vera perla. L'accoglienza ci ha veramente lasciato senza parole, partendo dalla stanza, con un "dolce" benvenuto (due ferrero rocher) e tutto a regola d'arte. Depliant esplicativi con tantissime informazioni, da cosa vedere, da come muoversi, dove mangiare, cosa fare, insomma ci hanno levato il peso di stare a cercare per poterci rilassare durante questo weekend. La colazione veramente buona e molto variegata (dolce e salato) disponibile fino alle 10: 00, quindi molto comoda, per chi vuole dormire un po' di più. Inoltre abbiamo avuto la possibilità di farci un bel giro su tutto il lungo mare grazie alle biciclette (forse un po' sgonfie ahah) disponibili gratuitamente nel B&B. Concludo ringraziando i proprietari che ci hanno anche consigliato un buonissimo posto per cenare durante una delle sere. Sicuramente se ci sarà occasione ritorneremo anche per scoprire questa città anche durante il periodo estivo.

Questo B&B è stato proprio una bella scelta. Vicino al mare, alla strada statale e alla ferrovia, che però non disturba il sonno. Camere spaziose e ben curate, come del resto l'esterno, un bel giardino con piscina e un piccolo gazebo sotto cui fare abbondanti e gustose colazioni, biciclette a disposizione degli ospiti e una disponibilità infinita da parte di Carla, sempre pronta ad ascoltare le esigenze dei vacanzieri e a soddisfarle. Una gran bella organizzazione pratica che fa godere una vacanza rilassante in una regione ricca di storia, bei posti e buon cibo. Grazie ancora a Carla e a tutta la sua bella famiglia che ci hanno fatti sentire coccolati come e più che a casa.

Tolles Hotel, sehr freundliches Personal und ausreichendes, gutes Frühstück. Lage ist ruhig und zum Meer sind es 5 Gehminuten. Die Zimmer sehr ansprechend, sauber und modern eingerichtet. Klimaanlage war bei den Temperaturen sehr angenehm und vorteilhaft. Auch die Möglichkeit Fahrräder kostenlos auszuleihen machten den Weg zum Strand noch schneller: -) Danke für die schöne Zeit. Ich würde auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen.

Io e mia moglie vi abbiamo soggiornato per 6 notti e ci siamo trovati veramente bene. Ottima la posizione, 5 minuti dal mare e vicino a ristoranti panificio e supermercato, struttura nuova e pulita con una bella e tranquilla piscina ideale quando si torna dalle gite per rilassarsi. Colazione ricca e abbondante. Il valore aggiunto la cortesia e la disponibilità di Carla sempre pronta a consigliarci luoghi e ristoranti di qualità e a venire incontro alle nostre esigenze!da ritornarci.

Relax allo stato puro. Abbiamo soggiornato nell'appartamento sopra al B&B e usufruito della colazione che spettava ai clienti de "la casa di Rinaldo". È stato una chicca che abbiamo goduto appieno. Colazione molto abbondante e sempre varia, anche con prodotti dell'orto del padrone di casa. L'ospitalità di Carla e del marito Luigi è stata superiore alle nostre aspettative, gentili, presenti ma mai invadenti. La posizione è strategica: paese non caotico ma non lontano dalle attrazioni della vita di mare e provvisto di tutto il necessario (negozi, supermercati, pescheria, farmacia, fruttivendolo...) senza dover prendere la macchina. La spiaggia, se piacciono i ciottoli, è vicinissima. Quella di sabbia è a 10 minuti in bici. Garantito l'uso delle bici che sono a disposizione per tutti. Due settimane sono passate velocemente e consiglio vivamente a tutti di passare a soggiornare in questo caldo e accogliente B&B!
