Description

I am Giuseppe, in love with nature and all those little great joys (simple pleasures) that life generously offers: a walk in hopeful search of porcini mushrooms, a cheerful and thorny chestnut picking for the winter, followed by a magical cooking over the fireplace, a "zampanella" or a "pagnottella" well-filled with hot and spicy omelette while observing an eagle soaring.

With this perspective, I welcome my guests to a brand new yet ancient-flavored villa, warm and full of color. Don't worry! It's earthquake-proof, on a staggered floor, with underfloor heating and solar panels for hot water production, free Wi-Fi internet, parking, each room has its own bathroom and its own direct entrance outside.

It boasts a vibrant orange color and the rooms feature pleasant tones inspired by nature.

I accommodate you in four splendid rooms, including a triple/quadruple one. The property is enclosed in a large fenced land.

I have an agreement with a renowned restaurant-pizzeria just twenty steps away.

In our breakfasts, I also offer homemade sweets often using ancient Abruzzese recipes.

The bed and breakfast is located one kilometer from the historic center and three from the L'Aquila Est highway exit, a stone's throw away from the Gran Sasso and Monti della Laga National Park and a short distance from the ski resorts of Campo Felice and Ovindoli.

Breakfast is prepared and served to guests by the owner Giuseppe at the beautiful communal table with ten seats. Guests can enjoy coffee, cappuccinos, tea, and herbal infusions, accompanied by a mixed sweet breakfast.

B&B in a great location to visit the city and extremely quiet (15 minutes on foot and we were at the Basilica of Collemaggio despite the continuous ups and downs). Giuseppe, the owner, is very helpful and an excellent source of information. The property, although relatively recent, would require a minimum of maintenance, especially in the external areas.

"Giuggiolando or pampering?" The first praise goes to Mr. Giuseppe who literally puts his heart and soul into the management of the B&B, and his discreet presence is the real added value. Always generous with tips and valid suggestions, he proved to be a very helpful, affable, and attentive host from the moment of our arrival. Nice location rich in original details, with reserved parking for guests in a rather convenient position to reach the center. Comfortable rooms and bathrooms, well furnished and very clean. Breakfast with everything you could desire (we enjoyed a delicious fresh ricotta and homemade cakes) served in a beautiful and spacious kitchen or outside if the weather allows. We spent the last two days of our hospitable tour of Abruzzo, and we could not have ended it better. Highly recommended.

It was a very pleasant stay. The structure is welcoming, very clean, with a large outdoor space, useful for those like us who travel with a big dog. Giuseppe, the manager, was wonderful, not only for his availability and attention in meeting our needs, but he did much more, he helped us in a moment of difficulty with the car doing much more for us than we could have ever imagined. I stayed with my husband over the weekend from 10th to 13th of August 2018. Everything perfect. Large, cool (and no air conditioning) and clean room. The breakfast room is a small gathering place with other people who come to visit Abruzzo, in the morning everyone sits together at the same table exchanging chats and laughs. Giuseppe, the owner, is truly an excellent host, he gave us valuable advice on the beautiful places to visit and on the restaurants in the area. Very friendly and very professional, he puts passion into his work and loves his land, transmitting this love to those who stay with him. We also had the opportunity to bring our 11-month-old Labrador. I will keep in my heart the memory of this splendid region, the places I saw, and the warmth of the people I met.
