Our B&B is located in the wonderful setting of the Abruzzo National Park, where untouched nature reigns supreme. The strategic, panoramic, and peaceful location in the heart of the picturesque village of Villetta Barrea (AQ) makes B&B De Contra the ideal place for maximum comfort.
Our B&B is the perfect starting point for excursions (trekking, cycling/mountain biking) and pleasant walks in the village, where you can admire the beauty of the landscape, local craftsmanship products, and participate in cultural events and exhibitions. Additionally, a short distance from our property, you will find the renowned ski resorts of Roccaraso and Pescasseroli, for winter sports enthusiasts.
Our facility is ideal for a relaxing holiday, immersed in an untouched natural environment. Whether for families or couples, it will be an oasis of tranquility in the greenery, perfect even for those traveling for business and work.
We will welcome you in our spacious common room, from which you can access a spacious terrace, perfect for enjoying the panorama at any time of the day. The rooms are heated, we offer free Wi-Fi, and the freedom to come back without time constraints.
Our rooms are equipped with a hairdryer, Wi-Fi connection, baby cot (upon request), mirror, bed linen, and towels. There are 3 rooms available, each with a private bathroom, shower, and courtesy kit.
In the morning, we will delight our guests with a delicious breakfast, serving homemade sweets and jams according to local traditions.
The managers speak Italian, English, French, and Spanish fluently.

Very positive experience. B&B located along the street, in a central but quiet area, very close to the main services and the waterfront. Room and bathroom are very clean. Paolo and Federica are very kind and welcoming and give you all the information to make the most of your stay. The breakfast is excellent and plentiful, ranging from packaged products to homemade sweets and jams. Excellent value for money.

In an elegant period building with great atmosphere on the main street of the village, a welcoming and informal structure with essential and authentic furnishings, overlooking the enchanting and fresh scenery of Villetta Barrea. The breakfast, which is good, is served in a bright common room where it is easy to socialize, thanks to the joviality of the young managers. I only stayed one night and I was sorry to leave. There was nothing to complain about the room, everything needed was there. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended.
