Description

Complex of 1000 square meters covered, including the house of 700 square meters on two floors, completely made of wood, with sober furnishings differentiated, and other parts added, carrying two 24 horse boxes, locker rooms and showers, relaxation room and laboratory. All this in the countryside with large open spaces for the enjoyment of young and old. Possibility of excursions of one or more days on horseback, with licensed guide or by mountain bike or on foot, to admire the breathtaking scenery surrounding our hotel. Nearby there are many different points of interest: chestnut and beech trees, archaeological sites, caves beautiful, historic centers of countries considered among the most beautiful villages in Italy, wonderful mountains that are the delight of skiers in the winter, when They are covered by a white blanket, and hikers in summer, etc..

I stayed for 4 days as a guest at this property with my 90-year-old father, my sister, and my 17-year-old niece. The experience was perfect: Mrs. Amalia welcomed every request of ours with extreme kindness, availability, and friendliness. The rooms are very large, clean, and quiet, all with equally clean and well-equipped bathrooms; for my father, we were able to use a spacious room on the ground floor with a private bathroom without architectural barriers. The breakfasts and dinners were excellent, abundant, and genuine. Everything is cooked by Amalia with passion and love, using products from the farm: Amalia prepared delicious dinners for us, with familiar flavors that were never artificial. The property is beautiful, and on a rainy day we spent a few really serene hours in the ground floor lounge, with the same tranquility as if we were at home. Even the hours of reading in the large garden, among horses, ponies, dogs, and goats, were precious. The location of the farm is excellent: just a few minutes from the center of Tagliacozzo, away from the traffic, immersed in nature. We will definitely return, with great pleasure and joy, especially for the kindness and hospitality of Amalia and her husband.

The structure is really very beautiful. However, it lacks vitality. The prerogative of a farmhouse is precisely this: you enter and in the structure you find everything you need: walks, garden, gazebo where you can read or relax. In reality, in this place, all this exists, but it is very "wild". Everything is left a bit to itself, without too much care: tall grass, many flying insects around, and little order and cleanliness in the areas designated for personal relaxation. However, it was two pleasant days. The lady owner is kind and friendly, just like her husband. The daily cost, for the only overnight stay and breakfast (also reviewable, in some respects), in my modest opinion, is a little high (100 euros for a double room) and precisely for the absence of those comforts mentioned above. Furthermore, a really annoying thing is the proximity of this wonderful structure to the main road. Too much noise! Even during the hours of nighttime rest. Even in light of the delightful kindness of the owners, based on my analysis, I do not think I will return.

Beautiful structure, immersed in the greenery and with a view of the mountains. There are animals and games, two fundamental elements for my son. The location was very convenient for us because we had to go to Sorbo, which is a five-minute drive away. I highly recommend this agriturismo.

We spent a truly relaxing week. The structure is very beautiful, spacious rooms, cool and carefully furnished. The owners are exquisite people, Mr. Fabrizio always available and smiling, Mrs. Amalia kind, affable, and an excellent cook, the whole family loves animals. We will be back soon.

I stayed with my family as a stopover from a holiday in Puglia, both on the way there and on the way back. On the way back, I would have stayed for days and days if I could. The setting, the horses, the greenery, the peace, and the truly charming structure. The owners are very kind and helpful. Even the surroundings were a surprise. Very satisfied.

Enchanting structure and the owners are really courteous and attentive. We were asked several times if we needed anything, if the beds were suitable for children, etc. It is evident the love they have for La Giarda, which they manage and take care of.

I stayed at the agriturismo La Giarda with my family for just a few days, unfortunately, but they were enough to make us feel at home. The house is simply beautiful! It is furnished with taste and attention to detail, then, the kindness and hospitality of the owners made our stay even more wonderful. Both my husband and my children left with the hope of being able to return. Truly a place that leaves a mark on your heart! Thank you! Even though it was a short stay, we had the opportunity to appreciate all the excellent features of the accommodation. Availability, kindness, excellent reception, extremely comfortable environment, attention to detail. If possible, we will definitely come back to enjoy the riding stable as well.
