Welcoming and comfortable little B&B just steps from the Via di Francesco in Diacceto. This is a true gem mostly due to the charming host and great location. I was welcomed with a warm smile, offered tea/coffee/wine and cookies to enjoy on the beautiful balcony. The sunset from the rooftop was spectacular. After a good rest in the quiet room I had a good breakfast and was ready to continue my pilgrimage. The house is also very interesting with authentic African artifacts. Thank you very much!

We stayed at the 'Un Altro Pianeta' property for a nearby wedding. The place was clean, the staff very courteous making you feel at home. Our dog Leo was welcomed by the beautiful Mia (the owner's dog) with great enthusiasm and games in the large garden. Breakfast was always served on time with a variety of products worthy of a hotel. Nice rooms with comfortable beds, clean linens, and convenient bathroom. I would gladly return.

Fantastic accommodation with a beautiful view. Only a 25-minute drive from Florence. The host is very helpful and hospitable. He even prepared an excellent dinner for us additionally, which we enjoyed on the rooftop terrace with a beautiful view of Tuscany. The breakfast was also excellent. Andrea is a great host. He does everything to make you feel comfortable. Welcomed with a nice cappuccino. And after a warm shower, relax on the sun lounger on the rooftop terrace to enjoy the sun and the beautiful view. The B&B is a lovely place. Nicely kept room with a small but comfortable bathroom and a great bed. Andrea also cooked for us. Very nice and tasty to sit down like that. In short, a great place to start our hiking holiday (we are walking the Franciscan path).

It is located in the countryside, but easily accessible by car. A car is needed for city trips. It is a detached house well furnished with African objects. Pleasant and quiet, it offers clean rooms. Our double room had a small bathroom but it was not a problem. There is parking and a lawn. Andrea was notably kind and welcoming. Rest and tranquility are assured. The price is reasonable. The house is new. We enjoyed our stay but a car is needed for getting around as it is in the countryside. We liked it a lot.

The place is surrounded by greenery, with a view over the countryside below, so it's a quiet environment; the house is very beautiful, you can go up to a terrace to admire the view, it's perfect on sunny days. There are two very sweet and cuddly dogs! The owner is friendly and helpful. There is a parking area in an internal courtyard, not far from the main road. Fan and hairdryer in the room. Inquire about internet and pos payment. It was a nice stay!

I used this hotel to attend a nearby event, and it was very comfortable. The room was clean and the African-style interior created a pleasant atmosphere. Despite the abundance of insects in summer due to the surrounding nature, with the ceiling fan and closed windows, you can enjoy a cool and comfortable environment. The manager was extremely kind, prepared a generous breakfast, and allowed us to have it on a lovely terrace. As he spoke English, he could assist with any issues in that language. The location is a bit far from the station, so I recommend using a taxi. However, being surrounded by nature, the scenery is truly magnificent. If the opportunity arises, I would love to stay here again.

During our bike trip from Belgium to Assisi, my wife and I spent one night at this splendid b&b. Andrea gave us a warm welcome upon our arrival and offered us a drink as he noticed we were sweating a lot due to the very hot weather. He suggested to prepare dinner for us, which we really appreciated as we hadn't had the opportunity to have a meal while passing through Florence. The house and the very clean rooms are decorated very tastefully in African style. Andrea is a very warm host to his guests, we would have liked to stay a little bit longer...

I stayed at this property for 3 nights with my wife. Immersed in the green hills of Tuscany just outside Florence, but a few minutes by car there is the train stop and you can reach the center in 20 minutes. We were welcomed by Andrea and his dog Molly. We chose the room (Baulè), the bathroom and the room were spotlessly clean, curated in every detail with objects (which can also be found in the rest of the house) and colors that recall Africa. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, perhaps one of the few we have found in our travels. Having breakfast on the terrace overlooking the hills is something unique, and if you also add the car park and a beautiful garden where you can relax, it's the best. The main feature of this B&B is definitely the manager Andrea, an exceptional person, very friendly and cordial; he gave us advice on where to eat and how to get to Florence by train. Very discreet, never intrusive, but we could have listened to him for hours telling us about his travels. Leaving the tranquility of the house and his company was difficult, we already missed it in the evening upon returning. Thank you, Andrea, for making our stay beautiful and romantic. The welcoming smile of Andrea opening the gate for us and the wagging tails of his dogs coming towards us as if they recognized us, immediately makes us understand why this B&B is called "Un Altro Pianeta": we have arrived in paradise! Everything is perfect, the garden is well-kept full of scents and colors of a wonderful countryside just a few km from Florence, the stone seats under the tree make you want to relax in the cool breeze with a good book. But the beauty truly unfolds as soon as we enter the house: the rooms available for guests are furnished with unique and highly sought-after objects that come directly from the African continent! What a pleasant surprise! We choose the "Masai" room: warm colors on the walls and beautiful, exquisitely crafted furniture arranged with great taste and attention to detail. The bathroom is spacious and here, furniture from old farmhouses takes the spotlight: a perfect mix of African warmth and countryside simplicity! Andrea never ceases to amaze us: in the morning he serves us breakfast on the terrace: we are surrounded by the greenery of the countryside, the chirping of birds, and a table full of many delicious things among which the freshly prepared fruit juice definitely stands out! Delicious! Once breakfast is over, it's already time to leave. We return home with the promise to come back: Andrea pampered us and welcomed us into his home as dear friends, attentive to anything we might need, caring, and smiling. We bid farewell with the promise to meet again: we will definitely return, it truly is "Un Altro Pianeta!".

Bonjour,\nI wanted by this message to pay tribute to Andrea who welcomed us into his house. The location is very good, close to nature and at the same time close to Pontassieve which allows us with the train to reach Florence quickly. Access to Un Altro Pianeta is easy. The warm welcome, without being excessive, immediately makes us feel good. Our host's advice is wise. We found a spacious room with an equally large bathroom. Equipped with television and wifi, the place is very comfortable. In the morning, Andrea carefully prepared a very hearty breakfast that delighted us, especially a delicious Apple/Carrot smoothie excellent. We highly recommend this address to all those who love to alternate mountain excursions and enjoy the magnificent city of Florence.

For work I found this property almost by chance. Never was a happier choice made. Tired from my travels in Italy, I could sleep on an extremely comfortable bed with the sound of crickets keeping me company. The room was magnificently furnished (Baule) showing taste and extreme cleanliness. The (very abundant) breakfast served on a little terrace overlooking the hills. Andrea, the host, very serious, discreet, and great company. I had to give only a 10 in the ratings also because the praise was not mentioned. Excellent stay. Highly recommended.

Exceptional location. The cottage is situated in a very panoramic place, the large garden and the rooms overlook the Frescobaldo valleys and the Valdarno. The structure is very clean and cared for in every detail, but the main characteristic of the B&B Un Altro Pianeta is the manager, Andrea, very attentive and professional. One last positive note, important for me, is the breakfast: it is served in the room on the first floor, overlooking the garden flooded by the morning sun. You are greeted with a fresh fruit smoothie, followed by a plentiful Italian-style breakfast. I will definitely return.

We stumbled upon the B&B by chance and couldn't have been luckier! The owner, Andrea, is very friendly and accommodating, and gave us many useful tips. The rooms are tastefully decorated with African objects and textiles, as Andrea often travels to Africa. We had breakfast on the terrace with a great view of the vineyards and the valley. Several hiking trails pass right by the house (e.g. one that in an hour leads through the vineyards to a winery of the Frescobaldi family) as well as the 'Leonessa' bike route. Florence is about half an hour away by car, but there is so much else to see in the surrounding area: medieval towns, the Vallombrosa Abbey, and much more. Absolutely recommended! We will definitely come back!

Both stylish and cosy, this quiet house, surrounded by green hills, provides a very relaxing stay. The peace of the countryside and the view on the valleys are remarkable. During our stay as a couple in the region, we spent two days at the Bed and Breakfast "Un Altro Pianeta". Warmly welcomed by our hosts Andrea and Simona, we were able to enjoy a spacious room equipped with a large double bed and a private bathroom. The room was well-equipped (tv, storage, wardrobe, ventilation, free wifi, armchair, toilet, bidet, shower, mirrors) and with a pleasant decoration combining a touch of exoticism and sobriety, making the living environment very pleasant and appealing. The rest of the villa, equally spacious and well-ventilated (large garden, outdoor terrace, private parking space) was charming, giving the impression of traveling as if we were in our own home. In the mornings, we enjoyed a generous breakfast prepared by Andrea, always attentive to satisfy our needs. Quality coffee and food served on the terrace on the roof of the villa, allowing us to fully enjoy the panoramic view overlooking the surroundings of the site. Simona and Andrea know the region very well and have plenty of advice that greatly facilitate various excursions and ensure you come across good places where you can taste local products without emptying your wallet. In summary, our stay brought us a breath of fresh and relaxing air while being in an evocative environment of travels and dream worlds, better understanding the meaning of the name of this Bed and Breakfast "Un Altro Pianeta".

I stayed 2 nights. The structure is very welcoming and warm, in tranquility, in the countryside, unique in its kind: the rooms clean and colorful in a unique style, it is a new way of seeing the classic bed and breakfast, very familiar, you feel at home. The sheets very fragrant, in the rooms we always found a bottle of water and a chocolate on the bedside table upon our return, and the freshly made coffee (I chose caramel) the owner Andrea is a lovely person, kind, a true gentleman, very helpful, has a solution for every problem, makes you feel at home and pampered. Breakfast is very abundant, in an elegant and chic style: omelette, cappuccino, hot filled pastries, nutella, etc. We had difficulty going out for dinner and Mr. Andrea improvised a special, intimate, delicious, very familiar dinner. There is a huge fireplace in the beautiful living room, all in a unique style. If you pass by that area, definitely stop here, it is really worth it, it is unique in its kind.
