Punta Ala is one of the most famous and beautiful Italian seaside resorts, a true natural paradise characterized by an incredible sea. Having become famous for being the operational base of Luna Rossa, it has continued to host both elite tourism and families with children. Punta Ala is located at the end of a rocky promontory covered by the classic Mediterranean scrub and beautiful pine forests. There are so many beaches to visit without ever getting bored. Nearby it is possible to visit another jewel of the beautiful Maremma coast, Castiglione della Pescaia which boasts a beautiful medieval castle but also a fascinating historic center with many small shops and high-level restaurants. Further south you reach Grosseto with its beautiful cathedral and the Medici walls. North of Punta Ala you can immerse yourself in history by visiting Baratti and Populonia rather than going to Piombino and embarking on a wonderful visit to the island of Elba.
