Description
The Bellandi Farm, located in the beautiful Val d'Orcia, is only 14 km from Radicofani and is just outside the walls of the ancient village of Contignano, with its Roman heart. To reach it, you travel along the picturesque Provincial Road of Monte Amiata, which connects the Via Francigena to the mountain, through a landscape characterized by gentle hills and rugged ravines, which break up the colors of pastures and wheat fields.
The road leading to Contignano intersects with ancient crossroads that lead to the city of Pienza and towards the other splendid villages of Val d'Orcia. Furthermore, the Val di Chiana is very close and accessible: Chianciano Terme and Montepulciano are about 20 minutes away by car, which is why our property can be the ideal starting point for cultural and gastronomic itineraries, both for solo travelers and for those traveling with family or in groups.
Our stone structure dates back to the mid-sixteenth century and in the 1990s it was converted into a reception facility. Our management, which took over in 2012, renovated the large rooms with every comfort, both the interior spaces, organized into large rooms on 3 levels, and the exterior spaces, with the aim of creating the ideal place to stay for cultural and slow tourism, nature lovers, tranquility, and well-being.
Our reception service, available 24 hours a day, is ready to assist you in Italian, French, and English, recommending interesting activities, events, and places to discover in the surroundings: spas and thermal establishments with which we have agreements; itineraries for all targets and ages; local producers of pecorino cheese, wine, extra virgin olive oil, and other typical specialties of Val d'Orcia and Val di Chiana.
We offer our guests a tasty breakfast prepared with homemade sweets and served in an exclusive room. In the same environment, in the corner dedicated to the Wine Bar, it is possible to taste the famous wines of our land, spirits, liqueurs, and excellent aperitifs, to tickle the palate before enjoying the specialties prepared in our kitchen.
The Farm is only 300 meters from the communal swimming pool of Contignano, at your disposal to refresh yourself on hot summer days.

Beautiful experience, Enza and Giovanni are very welcoming and available with the clients. We really felt at home! Rooms are very spacious and equipped with everything necessary. We also greatly appreciated the homemade cooking. Convenient for reaching and visiting the surrounding villages and for the San Filippo thermal baths. I highly recommend staying at the Bellandi farm.

My husband and I spent three days in Val d'Orcia and relied on La Fattoria Bellandi without knowing it. We had a great time in every way. I recommend it with closed eyes. Mr. Giovanni was extremely helpful, if we ever have to come back we will definitely rely on them. Claudia Tacchini.

Returning from a mountain stay in Bressanone, to break the journey, we stopped, for just one day, in the charming village of Contignano. The exceptional welcome we received from the staff of La Fattoria Bellandi was outstanding, all very attentive. But a special praise goes to Mrs. Enza who delighted us with her tasty dishes. Definitely an experience to be repeated as soon as possible.

We spent 2 nights at La Fattoria Bellandi. We had a great time, ate even more. The managers are very down to earth, friendly, and ready to satisfy every little desire. The triple room is very nice and cozy, a pity about the slightly low ceiling (attic type) and therefore also the very small windows. Two excellent dinners and delicious breakfasts with Mrs. Enza's 'biscottoni'.
