Description
La Dormeuse, a beautiful apartment located on the ancient fortified walls of the small village of Lucignano, is situated at an altitude of 400 meters and surrounded by the winding and charming hills of Valdichiana. Lucignano, also known as "the pearl of Valdichiana" and one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, maintains its original concentric ring structure and benefits from a favorable location on the border between Florence, Siena, Arezzo, and Perugia. The apartment includes a large bathroom with a shower, a fully equipped kitchenette, a living room with a fireplace, TV, and a sofa bed, a double bedroom, and a large terrace with a direct view of Valdichiana. The ceilings with exposed beams, recovered terracotta tiles, and portions of the original walls visible in the walls and in the underlying barn have been left unchanged. The apartment is equipped with independent heating, oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, and Wi-Fi. Parking is located about 100 meters along the city walls, and no tourist tax is required. The apartment allows for easy and quick travel to nearby cities such as Arezzo, Siena, Perugia, Lake Trasimeno, as well as Cortona, Montepulciano, Montalcino, Pienza, Asciano, Val d'Orcia, and the thermal baths of Rapolano.

La Dormeuse is a beautiful and spacious apartment, recently and skillfully renovated, located in the center of Lucignano, a short distance from the San Giovanni gate. Portions of the medieval walls and a beautiful former barn are visible inside. The ceiling is embellished with exposed beams and terracotta. The apartment is equipped with everything, it is very quiet and has a large terrace with a spectacular view. The bathroom is very nice and comfortable. Marta, the owner, is very kind and extremely helpful.

Wonderful holiday, thanks also to the kindness, sympathy and empathy of Marta and her wonderful family. Comfortable house, super complete in everything. Excellent location, fabulous view. In the area it will be our fixed point forever.
