La Dimora del Bassotto is a house with a story and a soul. Built by my grandfather in the 1970s as a family home, in 2011 we transformed it into a family-run Bed & Breakfast, keeping the warmth and authentic atmosphere of the past.

Here, hospitality is made of simple but genuine things: breakfasts prepared with fresh ingredients, personalized tips to discover the area, chats and laughter that make you feel immediately at home. You won’t find formality or distance, but kindness, courtesy, and small attentions that make the difference.

We combine the charm of holidays of the past with modern comforts, creating a welcoming space for curious travelers, couples looking for relaxation, families, or photographers exploring Tuscany.

Many guests over the years have returned several times, becoming friends: this is the sign that here you don’t just experience a stay, but a moment of sharing.

We are located in Gello (San Giuliano Terme), about 4–4. 3 km from the Leaning Tower of Pisa, in a truly strategic spot in Tuscany: ideal to visit not only Pisa, but also Lucca, the local thermal baths, and to move towards the nearby hills and coasts.

For those who prefer a savory option, we can prepare dishes with eggs, ham, and cheese, or delicious omelettes. Our breakfast is not served as a buffet: instead, we bring it directly to your table, for a more refined, personal, and exclusive experience.
