Alternatively, there are several nearby cafes; I recommend Il Giglio, which has very friendly staff and offers excellent pastries and homemade cakes!

It features a family-friendly atmosphere with plenty of gardens and green spaces, along with all essential services and limited traffic. It is situated on the opposite side of the river from the Cascine Park.
To get to the city center, you can take the tram from the Talenti stop, which is just a 15-minute walk away, with a travel time of about 12 minutes. Alternatively, you can use bus number 9 from the Torcicoda Senesi stop, only a 4-minute walk from the apartment, and get off at the Torcicoda Azalee stop. From there, it’s a simple matter of crossing the street to catch the tram at the Batoni stop heading towards Alamanni, getting off at Santa Maria Novella station.
On your return, you can take the T1 tram towards Villa Costanza and get off at Talenti, then walk home, or get off at Batoni and take bus number 9. Tickets can be purchased at the tobacco shop, must be validated on board, and are valid for 90 minutes, covering both buses and trams. It’s also possible to buy tickets via SMS, with instructions on the available transportation options.
A great alternative for exploring the city is to rent a bicycle or a Ride Movil scooter, or consider renting a 125 cc Vespa.
