Description

B&B Villa Aurora is composed by a single room, a double room and a suite, each one with its private bathroom. The big suite's bathrom is also equiped with a Jacuzzi.

Furthermore many common areas are at our clients disposal: a big dining room, big terrace and a huge lovely garden provided with tables and chairs.

Clients will be allowed to confortably park for free in a private area in front of the building.

The B&B, located in excellent position, very near to the train station and to the city centre, offers to its clients a relaxing holiday in a peacefull place as well as the possibility to quickly and easily reach the city centre with public means of trasports, in order to visit the many historical treasures of the city.

The B&B is also very close to the Ospital 'Le Scottè

In a quiet location, on the outskirts of Siena, we were welcomed by Silvia, the owner of the property, who made us feel at home with kindness, courtesy, and friendliness! We would like to return in the summer... who knows... Excellent breakfast with homemade cake!

I stayed for 4 weeks except on weekends and left today grateful for the tranquility and comfort of my stay. I chose the property for its proximity to the hospital (10-15 minutes on foot; bus stop just steps away) and for the possibility of private parking. The owner is very kind and always tries to meet every request. The highlight: for breakfast on some mornings, you can find fresh pastries/brioche from the bakery or even better – and it's the first time this has happened to me among all the B&Bs I've visited so far in both foreign countries and Italy – delicious homemade sweets made by her!

The external structure is dilapidated, dirty, and does not correspond at all to the photos. In the double room, there was no comfort, the television had no remote control, the windows were very old and it was polar cold, in the bathroom there was only a shower mat and nothing else, luckily I had a hairdryer with me. In the trash cans, there was still garbage from the previous guests. The bedding and bath towels were old and worn out, not to mention the duvet. In the morning, breakfast was chilling. After check-out, I realized I had forgotten my phone earbuds in the room; when I returned, I was greeted by the owner with incredible rudeness, she literally humiliated me! The only positive note is the proximity to the hospital.

Salve, siamo molto dispiaciuti che non si sia trovato bene...Mi dispiace anche che non mi abbia mai fatto presente nessuna di queste problematiche durante il suo soggiorno, avremmo senz'altro fatto del nostro meglio per rendere il suo soggiorno più confortevole. La struttura è dotata di un ottimo impianto di riscaldamento attivo con termostato che permette di mantenere una temperatura confortevole per tutto il giorno... Se comunque in qualche momento avesse avuto freddo avrei provveduto ad alzare ulteriormente. Riguardo alla colazione alterniamo dolci artigianali a paste confezionate e paste di pasticceria, notando che non aveva consumato le ho chiesto se fosse tutto ok per la colazione e mi disse che non faceva colazione perché usciva molto presto. La sua camera è stata pulita e sistemata tutti i giorni, ci scusiamo se il primo giorno uno dei cestini per una svista non è stato cambiato... Anche il telecomando della tv deve essere stato spostato durante le pulizie ed ovviamente ve lo avremmo portato immediatamente. La terrazza esterna da cui accedono gli ospiti è nuovissima ed è stata ripiastellata questa estate. Mi scuso se quando aveva lasciato le cuffiette le sono risultata scortese ma stavo per uscire per le lezioni ed ero molto di fretta. Cordiali saluti, Silvia.

Very nice welcome. The family room is very large with an impressive bay window. A very nice bathroom. We were able to have our breakfast on the outdoor terrace, very pleasant. The only downside is the heat, the room does not have air conditioning. Aware of the problem, the owners have installed a machine to cool the air and plan to install it. Silvia is charming and wants the stay to go well and she recommended a good restaurant. Thank you!

Exceptional place not only for what my needs were (being close to the hospital) but in general for tourism. Very welcoming family environment, the room complete with everything and very clean. Parking in the courtyard. Quiet area and close to everything. Public transport is a few steps away and in the surrounding area there are also bars and restaurants. Really recommended.

I am sorry, but I cannot say I am satisfied: bathroom and room with broken shutters, so dark and without ventilation with oppressive heat. The television on the wardrobe without a remote control. The water was undrinkable because hot. The price and the photos do not match. Let's not even talk about the entrance hall and the stairs that need cleaning.

Salve, ci dispiace che abbia riscontrato questi problemi durante il suo soggiorno... Le tapparelle si erano rotte pochi giorni prima del PALIO ed in quel periodo non era possibile reperire falegnami e altri lavoratori per sostituirle.. L'abbiamo fatto subito dopo. Sono già nuove perfettamente funzionanti come in tutte le altre stanze. La terrazza e le scale esterne necessitavano manutenzione ed abbiamo rifatto la piastrellatura di entrambe. Prima non avevamo trovato ditte disponibili... Riguardo alla temperatura nella stanza se ci avesse detto che aveva molto caldo le avremmo portato un pinguino che abbiamo. La struttura non ha aria condizionata perché in generale è molto fresca anche grazie alla presenza di un giardino con piante ad alto fusto che danno ombra e refrigerio naturale, disponiamo però per i periodi più caldi di refrigeratori e condizionatori che mettiamo a disposizione. Grazie comunque delle sue osservazioni preziose migliorarci. Cordiali saluti. Silvia

I stayed at the B&B Villa Aurora for three nights for study purposes, and I really enjoyed it. The manager is extremely kind and helpful, the room is clean and tidy with all the comforts, there is total autonomy and respect for privacy. For me, the location is the main strength, not far from both the biological institutes and the train station, and in the immediate vicinity there is a bus stop to the city center, a bar, a pizzeria, and a grocery store. Moreover, it feels like being totally immersed in nature. In short, if one is used to finding flaws, they will certainly find some here too, but personally I had a great experience, with an absolutely affordable quality/price ratio!

Good welcome from the owners. Excellent location; outside the walls of Siena, quickly reachable and very quiet. The part regarding the use of the kitchen could be improved. Comfortable bathrooms and all in all new. All in all, my family and my friends had a very good time while spending little.

We spent 2 days in Siena at the B&B Villa Aurora. The hosts were admirable. Extremely kind. Our children really enjoyed the stay and also being able to play with the hosts' children (very discreet and respectful, by the way). The accommodation is very close to a bus stop that allows you to reach the city center (forbidden to cars). The room was very comfortable.

We stayed for three nights. We were immediately impressed by the very warm welcome we received, in an affectionate and familiar atmosphere that allowed us to feel comfortable right away. The managers of the property stand out for their absolute kindness and availability, and for these reasons, we spent days full of harmony. The room we were assigned was very spacious and bright, with a very large and comfortable bathroom. Rich and satisfying breakfast. The property, immersed in greenery and tranquility, certainly adds an extra touch to the location itself. A special mention, therefore, to Silvia and Riccardo for their commendable management. The building is old but a very quiet and welcoming place, great location (near Porta Camolia), maximum cleanliness, good breakfast, kind manager, excellent quality/price ratio. If I return to Siena, I would like to repeat the experience in the same building.

We would like to thank Silvia, Riccardo, and the little one again for their warmth, availability, and hospitality. Thank you for the fantastic muffins at breakfast made by the hostess and alternated with an equally fantastic nut cake made by the mother-in-law. The property is warm, clean, quiet, and has a beautiful view; it is easily reachable from the station both on foot and by public transport. In about 20 minutes, you can reach the center on foot, while to get there faster, there are buses that take you in 5 minutes. Just a few steps from the property, there are bars, a newsstand, a tobacco shop, and grocery stores. We were completely satisfied, and it is our B&B of reference every time we are in Siena. Tuscany is enchanting; one cannot help but return.

We stayed only for two days (for health reasons, as the structure is very close to the hospital). The room was very clean although basic, equipped with comforts such as television, fridge, and free internet connection. The breakfast was excellent. The location is convenient with a bus connection to the center of Siena and ten minutes on foot from the hospital. The young couple who owns the place were very helpful and kind.
