The bed & breakfast Beatrice is on the second floor of an historic 1600 building located in Via Maggio, one of the most ancient streets of Florence known for having many of the most famous antique shops and galleries.

Opposite stands the majestic Palazzo Pitti, entrance to the beautiful Boboli Gardens and the back is Piazza Santo Spirito, famous for the homonymous church.

The unique location allows you to easily walk to all major attractions in the historical center of Florence (Uffizi, Piazza della Signoria, Piazza Duomo, Ponte Vecchio, Palazzo Pitti, Santa Croce, etc..) and, at the same time, experience the true city life, made up of boutiques, restaurants and nightclubs, but also of craft shops, quaint shops and markets.

The rooms are stylish and comfortable and will give every guest the feeling of staying in an ancient Florentine house without giving up all the modern comforts.

Well-located structure in the center of Florence. Essential room but equipped with comfort and a new bathroom. The only downside in my opinion is the very steep stairs to enter.

The structure is very convenient for the center, in a much less chaotic area. The staff was extremely helpful and kind. A plus is the ability to leave the luggage on the day of departure and pick it up independently at any time. It is priceless to be able to visit Florence without luggage in tow! The bed is very comfortable and equipped with a topper.

We stayed for two nights in May 2024. We had a great time, the managing sisters are very kind and helpful, whatever we asked for was granted without any problems. The structure has charm in an old palace, and it is very convenient being only 4 minutes from Palazzo Pitti, right in the center. The only downside was that the policy of the structure, (but perhaps many others apply this policy) for a two-night stay they do not clean the room... nothing else to say!

The arrangements were great from reservation to stay and departure. Great room, very clean, impressed they had an AC unit, mattresses were comfortable. I was worried about the restaurant below and the noise but it was fine after all, except for someone banging on something the 2 nights we were there for about 10 minutes, like they were doing construction. Beatrice was also very nice and friendly. Definitely recommend this place.

Absolutely recommended structure because it is central but at the same time quiet and because it is close to good and cheap restaurants. Both the room and breakfast are well taken care of. The owners are kind and helpful. I think I will come back.

The bathroom needs renovation (especially the shower) as well as the walls of the room need repainting. To get to the B&B Beatrice, there are some smelly stairs. Extremely central location and courtesy.

The fact that last week I stayed again at B&B Beatrice for the third time on a trip to Florence speaks for itself. The B&B's location is perfect, quiet and peaceful yet very close to the center, the rooms are spacious and clean. The hosts are very kind and helpful, the breakfast is abundant and prepared with the same care as a mother at her hearth (homemade jams). B&B Beatrice is like being at home in the heart of Florence.

The B&B is located in a very convenient position in the center of Florence. In the evening, it takes five minutes on foot to reach the city center. Recommended for those who want to make a cultural visit.
