Maso le Mosne is located at 1200 meters above sea level, about 6 km from the center of Malè, the main town of Val di Sole. A long time ago, our Maso was a farmer’s barn, and it still tells us about a life of subsistence and the hard work in the stables and in the fields. We restored it in 2016 with the methods of green building, using only natural materials: wood, lime, clay.

Breakfast will be served in a common room connected directly to a large open space, where visitors will be surrounded by a breathtaking view of the Brenta Dolomites and the Adamello-Presanella Alps. Life experience and curiosity have led us to the continuous search for a healthy eating style, as we are aware that “we are the ones who eat”. This is why we offer healthy cuisine, balanced in content, organic and mainly vegetarian. The raw materials mostly come from our crops cultivated next to Maso le Mosne (vegetable garden, cereals, potatoes, legumes and fruit). Some products like meats, cheeses, fruit, and some drinks come from trusted companies in the area, and other products are from fair trade shops. Add to that a multi-ethnic touch deriving from our many trips around the world.

Marianna and Paolo have dared by betting on this structure, and this courage deserves the highest rating. The structure, which has been restored from an old 'maso,' has been built with attention to bio-construction and the recovery of pre-existing materials; everywhere you can smell the cirmolo. The view from their tastefully furnished rooms is exceptional and overlooks the entire Val di Sole. Do not miss their dinner (and breakfast) made with the vegetables from their garden. Marianna and Paolo welcome you with kindness and attention, they are people with whom it is pleasant to talk and exchange interests, and perhaps this is what I liked the most. Marianna cooks with great care and enjoys experimenting; her food is not predictable like elsewhere, it is refined yet respectful of tradition with a strong focus on organic. Paolo has a great naturalistic background and shares his travels with passion. I have always felt a sense of discretion and attentiveness to the client's well-being without any intrusiveness. I only regret not being able to stay longer in their outdoor space where you can enjoy the relaxation of a panorama that spans the entire Val di Sole. I hope to be able to return as soon as possible, to read a good book near their beautiful gardens and enjoy their hospitality.
