Description
Just behind the stately church dedicated to San Lorenzo (also locally known as “Purgatorio”); a narrow and steep alley climbs up to the heart of our old town centre. It is here that you can find our B&B “I tetti di Girgenti”. With its three floors and an impressive terrace on the top, this building of the 19th century offers both comfort and the possibility of enjoying a breathtaking view on the Valley of Temples and the “African” sea.
Few minutes walking are enough to reach Via Atenea, main shopping street and cultural heart of Agrigento, especially during the summer season when lights, sounds and colours concur to create a magical atmosphere.
Our location slightly rearward, allows to enjoy peaceful and relaxing moments of rest, though still very close to the town life.
We decided to open our house to the guests to share with them the emotions and feelings originated from these places, wishing them an unforgettable holiday.
We eagerly await you!

Excellent accueil, belle chambre, petit déjeuner copieux, situation parfaite pour profiter pleinement d'Agrigente, se balader dans ses ruelles authentiques le soir, dîner dans ses bons restaurants, visiter la vallée des Temples, se baigner à quelques kilomètres de là.
Un seul conseil: garer la voiture sur les parkings en bordure de la vieille ville (par exemple piazza V. Emanuele, à 5 mn à pieds du B&B).

Sehr schöne Unterkunft und für Familien sehr geeignet, mitten in der Altstadt. Die Zufahrt ist etwas herausfordernd, aber der Betreiber schickte uns sehr hilfreiche Hinweise. Für uns empfehlenswert.

Aria di famiglia, accoglienza all'arrivo, disponibilità e cortesia sono le parole chiave dei gestori di questa struttura.
Consigliamo a tutti di prenotare il loro soggiorno in quest'ambiente confortevole. Le camere sono molto pulite e la vista dalla terrazza è semplicemente meravigliosa. Se ritorneremo ad Agrigento il nostro B&B sarà i TETTI DI GIRGENTI.

Un B&B ricavato in un palazzo del centro antico della città, ristrutturato ed arredato in modo consono al luogo. Bellissima vista dalla terrazza delle colazioni. I proprietari sono dei Signori (e la "S" maiuscola è di rigore) e la loro disponibilità è degna di nota. La pulizia è quasi maniacale. La colazione può soddisfare chiunque.
Unico aspetto da ricordare prima di poter godere di un godibilissimo soggiorno, è che, causa la natura del palazzo, la struttura non è adatta al soggiorno di persone con disabilità motorie.

La casa, a due passi dalla via principale del centro, è tenuta in modo impeccabile: pulitissima, arredata con gusto e attenzione per i dettagli. All'ultimo piano la terrazza (su cui si fa colazione) ha una vista impagabile sul mare e la valle dei templi. Il punto forte è a mio avviso la famiglia ospitante: persone squisite e molto affabili, che amano non solo offrire un ottimo servizio ma anche intrattenere gli ospiti.

10 giorni in Sicilia, di cui 5 ad Agrigento, passati in un alloggio davvero suggestivo, curato nei minimi particolari dotato di una terrazza splendida, gestito con un'eleganza di altri tempi (unica mancanza i cornetti di Albanese).

Il B&B è in una posizione ottimale per trascorrere in comodità qualche giorno ad Agrigento. È leggermente defilato rispetto alla Via Atenea e questo permette di avere un silenzio e una tranquillità impagabili. Tutto il centro storico è a portata di mano: con pochi passi si arriva in qualsiasi punto del centro e a pochi minuti hai tutta la città a disposizione. Io mi sono mosso unicamente a piedi e non ho avuto alcun tipo di problema.
Il palazzo è elegante e raffinato curato con sobrietà. La mia stanza era perfettamente in ordine, pulita e il balconcino offriva uno scorcio stupendo della città. La colazione, gustosa e variegata, viene servita nella terrazza dell'ultimo piano che fa da cornice al palazzo. Una vista straordinaria, un panorama stupendo. In questa terrazza ho anche cenato una sera avendo a disposizione la cucina. I gestori del B&B sono persone squisite, gentilissime, mi hanno trattato come uno di famiglia, come fossi a casa mia.
Se tornerò ad Agrigento certamente tornerò ai "Tetti di Girgenti".
