At the foot of Etna, nestled in the countryside punctuated by brooms and prickly pears and surrounded by the green oak trees of Bosco di Aci, the B&B “Contrada Zerbate” is the ideal place to enjoy the most typical Sicilian landscape without compromising on benefits of proximity to the city. Located in the little town of Lavinaio, five minutes away from motorway exit, “Contrada Zerbate” is a comfortable and welcoming residence. Tourists who want to discover natural and artistic beauties of Central Eastern Sicily can enjoy authentic relaxing moments here. 20 km from Catania, 87 km from Siracusa, 44 km from Taormina, 17 km from “Tourist Quay” in Riposto and 22 km from Etna, the strategic position of B&B “Contrada Zerbate” makes really within an easy reach the best of sea and montains of Ionica coast and of hinterland.
The accomodation derives from an ancient “palmento” and contains three spacious air-conditioned bedrooms with flatscreen TV, free Wi-Fi and private bathroom with bidè as well as a large common room for breakfast that you can also enjoy outdoor in fine weather. Outside the house is sorrounded by a garden which is part of a protected area called “Bosco di Aci”.
