Description

In the Ragusa area close to the sea, nestled in the middle of a beautiful green garden stands the "Attic", a small structure to manage the whole family.

The "Attic", intimate B&B, very comfortable even for long periods, is located 3 minutes from Punta secca, a small seaside town, "residence" in the television series Dexter, a character born from the pen of Andrea Camilleri who has made famous this town surrounded by golden sand beaches and a crystal-clear sea Caribbean colours.

"The Attic" destination for those who love tranquillity and relaxation, it is also the ideal place to enjoy the nightlife and entertainment district offering close and lively Marina di Ragusa.

Within walking distance are the imposing Castle of Donnafugata and archaeological excavations and the Museum of Kamarina, a major Greek colony founded in 598 BC. A 20-minute drive you will find, in addition, the beautiful town of Ragusa Ibla, Modica and Scicli, considered the ultimate expression of Baroque and declared by Unesco World Heritage site for their countless artistic and architectural beauties. The B&B "the Attic" offers double rooms with private bathroom with the possibility of third bed, accessiorate with air conditioning and mini bar. The attic is equipped with a terrace for guests, where you can enjoy a wonderful view over the Mediterranean. Furthermore, at guests ' disposal: iron and ironing board, hair dryer, refrigerator and a private car park, plus the ability to use an outdoor shower. The whole family management of B&B the "Attic" Punta Secca, guarantees a courteous and sincere hospitality for a welcome stay in Sicily.

I begin this description trusting that I am of Campania origin, exactly from another beautiful island which is Ischia, but for some years I have been living here, in Sicily, exactly very close to Punta Secca, in the territory known as the places of Montalbano, therefore as such, that is Ischia, I have the spirit of tourism because in my small and beautiful island you live mostly from tourism, so arriving here in Ragusa, I immediately noticed that there were and still are the conditions for tourism.

Everything started from this, first of all I want to thank everyone, everyone, but all my guests who in recent years have given their contribution with useful advice, to modify and improve my little B&B where there was need, in plus I too have had the opportunity to grow professionally and today I am satisfied with the results obtained.

My hobbies? There are not many, one in particular is my garden with my vegetable garden and my flowers, then; but this is not a hobby, my family is there, and finally another hobby has become the b & b, where I enjoy creating personalized breakfasts for my guests, hahaha a hug to everyone. We arrived to stay for two days and then ended up staying four. Stunning place, ideal for rejuvenation and relaxation. The location allows you to reach several places to visit. The hosts are very welcoming and provide numerous tips for getting around. We were guests at this beautiful property for 10 wonderful days in August. We felt at home thanks to the tranquility and everything that this B&B La Mansarda offered us. Antonella is a special person, this is the truest thing I can say. Throughout our stay, she dedicated her passion to doing her job, attentive to everything we might need, every morning she delighted us with breakfasts prepared strictly by her that left us speechless every time. Everything excellent and cared for in the smallest details, fresh flowers from the wonderful garden surrounding the property, always on the tables along with many delights. I could write a thousand more things but I'll stop here, I can add that this place lacks nothing, I recommend it a thousand times to everyone, you feel great here. Very close to very beautiful beaches, but far enough away to enjoy peace and tranquility. Starting point for the architectural beauties of the Baroque. Comfortable rooms in every respect, always spotless. Antonella is an exquisite host attentive to her guests, who spoils with surprises that increase the pleasure of an already hearty breakfast. B&B La Mansarda is managed by Antonella and her family. Antonella is a loving and very kind person in welcoming guests. She was extremely helpful in trying to fulfill every request we had. The structure is a 5-minute drive from the sea in a very quiet area. The room and the structure are very well maintained and extremely clean. The 2-night stay was very pleasant. The breakfast was abundant and varied, and Antonella was always available for any of our requests. Highly recommended if you need to stay for a few days in the Punta Secca area.

We were looking for a B&B in the Ragusa area near the sea and we found B&B La Mansarda. Great location, just a few minutes by car from Punta Secca, Marina di Ragusa, and the enchantment of Scicli. Perfect structure, with a shared terrace from which you can see the entire coastal panorama. Antonella, in addition, is a hostess who is at the same time friendly, attentive but not intrusive, which is rare. B&B in the attic of the owner's house. Internal parking space, flat screen TV, excellent bed (fabulous mattress), air-conditioned. Outside, large terrace, garden with sunbathing area with sun loungers and shower. Good breakfast, very kind owner. A couple of km from the sea, close to Punta Secca if you want to go see the B&B where they shoot the TV series "Inspector Montalbano", with the Watchtower, but above all close to the spectacular Scicli. Highly recommended.

We stayed for a week, this September, at the B&B La Mansarda; we were the only guests which made the stay even more intimate. At breakfast, in addition to the essentials, we were given directions and tips on distances and places to visit. Mrs. Antonella manages and takes care of the B&B with attention to detail, her husband is passionate about vintage cars (he owns a red Fiat 500 from 1965 that looks new both inside and out), their three children are wonderful. The location is elevated compared to the surrounding area and in the evening on the terrace you can enjoy a lovely view of the sea and the charming village of Punta Secca, the beaches are easily accessible and the quietness favored our sleep. My wife and I would like to thank dear Antonella, who welcomed us with such kindness and showered us with attention and affection. Our stay was as comfortable as it could be: abundant and tasty breakfasts, comfortable and well-cleaned rooms, as well as the bathroom and linen supply. Ample and comfortable outdoor spaces, order and cleanliness everywhere. The new and well-maintained structure. Very short distance from the sea of Punta Secca. Various excursions are possible, all easily and quickly reachable. The management by Mrs. Antonella and her husband Gianni gives the feeling of being in a family, without being intrusive. I highly recommend this B&B to all those who love relaxation, the sea, good food. Lovers of Baroque culture can freely visit all the surrounding areas, including the famous Noto, the cradle of this extraordinary and rich style. Excellent welcome. The place is immersed in the countryside of the area and therefore tranquility is guaranteed. B&B La Mansarda precisely, offers a fantastic view of the lighthouse of Punta Secca, which we discovered to be our favorite destination. Cozy and well-kept rooms. Reasonable price. Absolute availability from Antonella who "spoiled" us by bringing us cream for the coffee at breakfast, having picked up from our stories the habit for this morning combination. Not to mention the candies for our children. In short, if you pass by those parts, I highly recommend it!

Dopo questo bellissimo apprezzamento nei confronti del nostro piccolo b&B a noi personalmente e alla nostra bambina non troviamo parole per definirvi carissimi Gianni e Flora, cominciamo a dire che la vostra buona educazione è esemplare avvolte ci domandavamo se eravate in camera di quanto eravate silenziosi, solo la macchina nel parcheggio ci segnalava la vostra presenza in camera, per non dire della vostra delicatezza nei confronti di noi tutti, lavorare con persone così viene tutto più facile, grazie ancora e tanti saluti da tutti noi. We stayed in this beautiful B&B very close to Punta Secca. You could walk there. It is managed directly by the owners who live there in the structure and they are two really nice and very helpful people. The B&B is brand new and clean. The breakfast is delicious. I hope to return.

Hello, I recommend this B&B La Mansarda. I had a great time. I will absolutely return. It is located in a good spot, not far from the sea. It is well maintained and clean, like being at home. Best wishes to Antonella, the exceptional host.

We could not find better: welcoming structure a few steps from the sea, very friendly, courteous and helpful managers. It is a pity that it was a "bite and run" vacation.
