Description

In the Ragusa area close to the sea, nestled in the middle of a beautiful green garden stands the "Attic", a small structure to manage the whole family.

The "Attic", intimate B&B, very comfortable even for long periods, is located 3 minutes from Punta secca, a small seaside town, "residence" in the television series Dexter, a character born from the pen of Andrea Camilleri who has made famous this town surrounded by golden sand beaches and a crystal-clear sea Caribbean colours.

"The Attic" destination for those who love tranquillity and relaxation, it is also the ideal place to enjoy the nightlife and entertainment district offering close and lively Marina di Ragusa.

Within walking distance are the imposing Castle of Donnafugata and archaeological excavations and the Museum of Kamarina, a major Greek colony founded in 598 BC. A 20-minute drive you will find, in addition, the beautiful town of Ragusa Ibla, Modica and Scicli, considered the ultimate expression of Baroque and declared by Unesco World Heritage site for their countless artistic and architectural beauties. The B&B "the Attic" offers double rooms with private bathroom with the possibility of third bed, accessiorate with air conditioning and mini bar. The attic is equipped with a terrace for guests, where you can enjoy a wonderful view over the Mediterranean. Furthermore, at guests ' disposal: iron and ironing board, hair dryer, refrigerator and a private car park, plus the ability to use an outdoor shower. I begin this description trusting that I am of Campania origin, exactly from another beautiful island which is Ischia, but for some years I have been living here, in Sicily, exactly very close to Punta Secca, in the territory known as the places of Montalbano, therefore as such, that is Ischia, I have the spirit of tourism because in my small and beautiful island you live mostly from tourism, so arriving here in Ragusa, I immediately noticed that there were and still are the conditions for tourism.

Everything started from this, first of all I want to thank everyone, everyone, but all my guests who in recent years have given their contribution with useful advice, to modify and improve my little B&B where there was need, in plus I too have had the opportunity to grow professionally and today I am satisfied with the results obtained.

My hobbies? There are not many, one in particular is my garden with my vegetable garden and my flowers, then; but this is not a hobby, my family is there, and finally another hobby has become the b & b, where I enjoy creating personalized breakfasts for my guests, hahaha a hug to everyone. Carmela is the manager of the house and takes care of it with great taste. She spoiled us with a very varied and delicious breakfast. The location of the house is excellent for reaching Modica, Noto, and Ragusa. Mrs. Antonella is very helpful in providing information. Thank you for the days we spent at La Mansarda.

We stayed at this property in August and we appreciated the tranquility, it is located in the countryside just one kilometer from the beach. The room is comfortable and clean and the hostess very friendly. The breakfast is abundant, they also serve excellent homemade cakes. The house is surrounded by a well-kept garden.

We arrived to stay for two days and then ended up staying four. Stunning place, ideal for rejuvenation and relaxation. The location allows you to reach several places to visit. The hosts are very welcoming and provide numerous tips for getting around. Mrs. Antonella does this job with heart and every morning she pampered us with a delicious breakfast served in a room arranged with a thousand details. Thanks again.

We were guests at this beautiful property for 10 wonderful days in August. We felt at home thanks to the tranquility and everything that this B&B La Mansarda offered us. Antonella is a special person, this is the truest thing I can say. Throughout our stay, she dedicated her passion to doing her job, attentive to everything we might need, every morning she delighted us with breakfasts prepared strictly by her that left us speechless every time. Everything excellent and cared for in the smallest details, fresh flowers from the wonderful garden surrounding the property, always on the tables along with many delights. I could write a thousand more things but I'll stop here, I can add that this place lacks nothing, I recommend it a thousand times to everyone, you feel great here. Thank you again Antonella you are unique. We will definitely see each other again.

Lovely place, Mrs. Antonella is a fantastic woman, she puts passion into everything she does, spectacular breakfasts with homemade pastries, courtesy, availability, an environment where everything is clean, tidy, fragrant, a continuous pampering, in a dream setting! Five stars are not enough, it has remained in our hearts, it was like being with family! We will come back!

Very close to very beautiful beaches, but far enough away to enjoy peace and tranquility. Starting point for the architectural beauties of the Baroque. Comfortable rooms in every respect, always spotless. Antonella is an exquisite host attentive to her guests, who spoils with surprises that increase the pleasure of an already hearty breakfast. It was my third stay and I already hope to be able to make the fourth soon. I recommend it.

Ambiente pulitissimo, dentro e fuori. Ottima colazione con prodotti del luogo servita con gentilezza e qualche piacevole chiacchiera. Ideale per tutti, bambini e anziani: la Signora Antonella sa come far sentire i suoi ospiti a casa. Il luogo è ideale per raggiungere, percorrendo pochissimi chilometri, bellissime spiagge da Punta Braccetto a Marina di Ragusa, per non dimenticare la altrettanto vicina punta secca, sede della casa del Commissario Montalbano. Consigliato!

Il B&B è gestito da Antonella e la sua famiglia. Antonella è una persona amorevole e gentilissima nella accoglienza. Per ogni nostra richiesta è stata disponibilissima nel cercare di esaudirle. La struttura è a 5 minuti di macchina dal mare in una zona molto tranquilla. La camera e la struttura sono tenute benissimo e pulitissime. Il pernottamento per 2 notti è stato piacevolissimo. La colazione abbondante e varia e Antonella è sempre stata a disposizione per ogni nostra richiesta. Altamente raccomandato se dovete sostare qualche giorno nelle zone di Punta Secca.

Cercavamo un B&B nel ragusano vicino al mare ed abbiamo trovato La Mansarda. Posizione ottima, a pochi minuti di macchina da Punta Secca, Marina di Ragusa e dall'incanto di Scicli. Struttura perfetta, con un terrazzino comune da cui si vede tutto il panorama costiero. Antonella, poi, è una padrona di casa allo stesso tempo cordiale, attenta ma non invadente, il che è raro. Stanza piccolina ma confortevole, d'altronde non si va certo in questi posti per restare in camera! In definitiva assolutamente consigliato. Grazie Antonella!

Siamo arrivati in questo B&B e ci siamo sentiti a casa! Grazie Antonella! Una settimana di relax in una casa bellissima con uno splendido giardino, la camera pulita e confortevole, dal terrazzino un panorama stupendo sul mare. Ottima colazione e mi mancheranno le piacevoli chiacchierate con Antonella, la bravissima e simpaticissima padrona di casa, molto attenta ad ogni esigenza dei clienti senza mai essere invadente. Speriamo sinceramente di rivedervi tutti, per ora vi mandiamo un grande abbraccio ad Antonella, Gianni, Federica, Francesca, Francesco ed al cagnolino che non ricordo il nome!

Località e posizione della struttura ottima per visitare i luoghi del circondario. La stanza messaci a disposizione, ordinata è sopratutto pulita. La colazione varia e più che abbondante. La Signora Antonella ci ha fatto trovare i gelsi, che abbiamo gradito. Un plauso particolare alla Signora Antonella, gentile e premurosa, siamo stati messi dal primo momento a nostro agio. La sensazione di essere in ambiente familiare. Gli spazi esterni ben curati con un bel panorama.

B&B nella mansarda della casa della proprietaria. Posto auto interno, tv piatta, letto ottimo (materasso favoloso), condizionato. All'esterno terrazzo ampio giardino con solarium con sdraio e doccetta. Buona colazione, proprietaria gentilissima. A un paio di km dal mare, vicino a Punta Secca se volete andare a vedere il B&B dove girano la fiction de "Il commissario Montalbano", con la Torre d'Avvistamento, ma soprattutto vicino alla spettacolare Scicli. Consigliatissimo.

Antonella è un'ottima padrona di casa accogliente e simpatica senza mai essere invasiva. Complessivamente la struttura è molto accogliente e tranquilla, ci si sente a casa. Vale la pena di utilizzarla per un soggiorno in zona di uno o più giorni. Centrale rispetto alle tante cose da vedere e da fare nella zona.

Abbiamo soggiornato per una settimana, questo settembre, presso il B e B; eravamo i soli ospiti e questo ha reso il soggiorno ancora più diretto, a colazione oltre il necessario venivano distribuiti indicazioni e consigli su distanze e luoghi da visitare. La signora Antonella gestisce e cura il B&B con attenzione anche ai particolari, il marito appassionato d'auto d'epoca (possiede una 500 Fiat rossa del 1965 che sembra nuova sia negli interni/esterni che nel motore), i figli tre splendidi ragazzi/e. La posizione è in alto rispetto al territorio circostante e la sera sul terrazzino permette una visione del mare e del paese di punta Secca incantevole, le spiagge sono vicine facilmente raggiungibili e il silenzio ha favorito il nostro sonno. Un caro saluto Roberta e Claudio.

Io e mia moglie desideriamo ringraziare la carissima Antonella, che ci ha accolti con tanta gentilezza e ci ha ricolmati di attenzioni e affettuosità. Il nostro soggiorno è stato quanto di più confortevole possa esserci: le colazioni abbondanti e gustose, le camere comode e ben pulite, così come il bagno e la fornitura di biancheria. Spazi esterni ampi e confortevoli, ordine e pulizia ovunque. La struttura nuova e ben tenuta. Brevissima la distanza dal mare di Punta Secca. Possibilità di varie escursioni, tutte facilmente e brevemente raggiungibili. La conduzione gestita dalla signora Antonella e suo marito Gianni, danno la sensazione di essere in famiglia, senza peraltro cadere nell'invadenza. Consiglio vivamente questo BeB, a tutti coloro che amano il relax, il mare, il buon cibo. Gli amanti della cultura del Barocco, potranno visitare a piacimento tutte le zone limitrofe, compresa la famosa Noto, culla di questo straordinario e ricco stile. Ottima accoglienza. Il luogo è immerso nelle campagne della zona e quindi la tranquillità è garantita. La Mansarda appunto, permette una fantastica vista del faro di Punta Secca, che abbiamo scoperto essere nostra meta del cuore. Camere accoglienti e ben tenute. Cifra ragionevole. Disponibilità assoluta da parte di Antonella che ci ha "viziati" portandoci a colazione della panna per il caffè, avendone carpito dai nostri racconti l'abitudine per questa accoppiata mattutina. Per non parlare delle caramelle ai i nostri figli. Insomma se passate da quelle parti ve lo consiglio vivamente!

13 giorni indimenticabili! Eccellente l'accoglienza, la cordialità e la disponibilità. Un posto stupendo con vista panoramica mozzafiato sul faro di Punta Secca. Consigliamo questo B&B a tutti coloro che amano la tranquillità, tra il mare e le colline, la natura regolata dai muretti a secco, e le splendide città Barocche. Vorremmo dire che più che in un B&B è come se fossimo stati a casa nostra ! Un feeling immediato con Antonella e Gianni che ci hanno subito messo a nostro agio; poi il sorriso magico di Francesca, pasticciera di sicuro avvenire. Impeccabile la pulizia e la cura dei dettagli. La sera tramonti da favola dal terrazzo della camera. Consigliato agli amanti del relax e della buona educazione. Un abbraccio a tutta la famiglia. Flora e Gianni.

Dopo questo bellissimo apprezzamento nei confronti del nostro piccolo b&B a noi personalmente e alla nostra bambina non troviamo parole per definirvi carissimi Gianni e Flora, cominciamo a dire che la vostra buona educazione è esemplare avvolte ci domandavamo se eravate in camera di quanto eravate silenziosi, solo la macchina nel parcheggio ci segnalava la vostra presenza in camera, per non dire della vostra delicatezza nei confronti di noi tutti, lavorare con persone così viene tutto più facile, grazie ancora e tanti saluti da tutti noi. Siamo stati in questo bellissimo B&B vicinissimo a Punta Secca (ci si potrebbe andare a piedi), Gestita direttamente dai proprietari che abitano lì nella struttura, e sono due persone veramente simpatiche e molto disponibili. Il B&B è nuovissimo e pulito. La colazione buonissima. Spero di ritornarci.

La struttura merita un volto più alto del 10, sopratutto per la gentilezza della signora Antonella. Ci ritorneremo con piacere e faremo ottima pubblicità alla struttura.

Non potevamo trovare di meglio: struttura accogliente a pochi passi dal mare, gestori simpaticissimi, cortesi e disponibili. Peccato sia stata una vacanza "mordi e fuggi"!
