Welcome to Agon, our Bed and Breakfast since 2006, for guests who are looking for a relaxing and tranquil home.
This accomodation is perfectly located for those who are visiting Taormina and the East coast of Sicily.
Agon is a lovely Bed and Breakfast located at Taormina Mare (Taormina seaside), overlooking the picturesque Taormina bay at the beginning of the south end of Capo Taormina.
Agon is situated in an apartment that was completely refurbished on the first floor of a typical building of the 1900’s built with thick outer walls, high ceilings and large windows.
It is located in a great position at Taormina seaside, close to the beach and 2 km away from the "Isola Bella" nature reserve to the north and "Alcantara" river gorge to the south.
Should you wish, we will put at your disposition all our knowledge such that your stay with us will be enriched by all that our land has to offer in terms of nature, history and art.

We offer ensuite rooms, double, twin and single.
Every room has a double, queen or two single beds, a wardrobe, bedside, air condition, desk, chairs, TV LCD and hair dryer.
Every room, for our guests, has private bathroom and shower.

High Speed Wireless Internet connection is available in all the rooms.
Pass car.
We offer to our guests a "pass" for drive and parking for free in Taormina City centre.
Sicilian or continental style breakfast is offered every morning and it's included in the Room Price.
Toiletries and Towels.
Soap, shower/shampoo gel, and towels are provided for the comfort of our guests, included daily housekeeping.
Laundry service is available on request and at a charge.
Complimentary Milk, Tea and Coffee.
Milk, tea and coffee are available for our guests. A Kettle is provided so that our guests can prepare themselves a hot drink in the living room at their leisure.

We stayed for two nights at this B&B, located in front of the Taormina train station, making it convenient to reach and from there to move around. A special thanks to the kind Mrs. Lya for all the advice she gave us and for the excellent breakfast she prepared for us in the morning.

Lya was a wonderful host - informative and friendly; we really enjoyed talking with her in the morning at breakfast. Her B&B was lovely - beautifully decorated, super clean and comfortable. It was right across the road from the train station and bus stop so getting there from Catania was easy and getting around to Taormina, Giardini Naxos and other places on the bus (both the blue and the hop on hop off buses) was simple and cheap. We took the bus both during the day and in the evening and were very comfortable. A great place to stay - we wish we had planned to stay there longer.

This place is amazing. Do yourself a favor and get to meet Lya and Davide. You will feel as if in a five-star hotel without the price tag and will have a much more authentic experience.

A great location. Lya was a fantastic host, every morning she delighted us with a breakfast made of fresh bakery products and typical Sicilian jams. The location is excellent; close to the beaches as well as the center of Taormina, you can walk to the Giardini Naxos. In front of the B&B Agon *** there is both the train station and the bus stop from where you can go wherever you want. I highly recommend booking with Lya to be able to enjoy Taormina and its surroundings peacefully without the stress of the car.

I have just returned from an 8-day vacation in the wonderful Sicily, I had the opportunity to stay at the B&B Agon in Taormina/Villagonia for 8 nights. The B&B is strategically located between the center of Taormina, the Giardini Naxos, the fabulous Isola Bella, it is easily accessible by car and train, a few steps away is the Taormina Giardini station, where you can take a train and be in Messina and Catania in an hour, and in 2 hours in Siracusa. Mrs. Lya, the B&B manager, is an exquisite person, available at any time like the rest of her staff: unforgettable her breakfast with granita and brioche.

When we come back, we will definitely try to get a B&B room from the landlady Lya again. We really enjoyed the 2 days. The nearby pebble beach is great and the water is crystal clear.

A wonderful stay, due to the beauty of magical Sicily and the kindness and courtesy of the owner, prepared, professional, and available to provide valuable advice on the tourist and culinary attractions of Giardini Naxos and Taormina. Heartfelt thanks to Lya, a wonderful person, for allowing me to spend an unforgettable holiday. The B&B Agon *** is delightful, super clean, tastefully furnished, and located in an excellent location (5 minutes away, by bus, from Taormina and Isola Bella). The bus stop is in front of the B&B. At the same stop, buses pass to Catania airport, it can't get more convenient than this! Every morning you are welcomed by the warmth and friendliness of Lya, who pampers her guests with rich and delicious breakfasts. What can I say... I will return to this wonderful land and stay at this B&B: I highly recommend it to anyone. I was traveling alone: I felt at home and even better. A big hug, Lya.

Very nice experience at B&B Agon *** with Lya & Davide. Comfortable beds. Hearty breakfast with local pastries and cold cuts. Lya is available for any information. We had rented a car and were able to park it without any problems in front of the house in a free parking lot. 15 minutes from Taormina by car. The beach is easily accessible on foot. I recommend this warm and pleasant place.

Choose them, period. Immaculate structure, in front of the bus stop and the train station, as well as the taxi stand. You cross the street and you are at the sea. Exquisite managers. They will advise you on the best places, how to get around, what to visit, and they will indicate everything you need. Mega breakfast. It feels like being at home, really. One of the aspects of the vacation that is remembered with pleasure. Great!
