Area Poetto
Poetto (Poetu in Sardinian) is the main beach in Cagliari that stretches for about twelve kilometers, from Sella del Diavolo to the beginning of the coast of Quartu Sant'Elena where it takes the name of Quartu beach (or Poetto di Quartu). The beach in its extension, which goes from Marina Piccola to Margine Rosso, extends for about seven and a half kilometers between the territory of Cagliari and Quartu Sant'Elena. Poetto is an important tourist resort and one of the main places of summer nightlife in the city and in the vast area.
Poetto beach overlooks the Golfo degli Angeli, on the central-southern coast of Sardinia.
Although the white sand dunes and the colorful huts are only a memory of the past, the beach retains a remarkable charm, enhanced by the presence of the Sella del Diavolo promontory, which dominates the small port of Marina Piccola.

The breakfast was mediocre, despite the very pleasant view, the products offered are not up to the expected level. I especially do not recommend having breakfast on site.

I stayed at Le Palmette Suites until a few days ago and I highly recommend it. The room was not huge, but it was very clean and complete with every service. The breakfast, varied and abundant, was served by the sea. Everything was managed with competence and grace by the very kind Victoria. Highly recommended!

So nice the room and the outdoor space. The place for breakfast was beautiful. The only negative aspect was that there was a smell of mold in the room as unfortunately happens in many buildings in Italy... \nThe staff was lovely and helpful. I really liked Viktorija (I think that's her name, a blonde girl). She really was a perfect host.

Le Palmette is such a great property and Viktorija is the best manager! She made sure I had everything I needed and was quick to reply. The property is one block away from the beach and was easy to get back and forth to the city center. Clean, and the breakfast at Le Palmette was good as well. Would definitely stay here again!

Recently renovated structure with taste. Excellent location a stone's throw from the sea. Managed with professionalism and availability. Perhaps the breakfast served in the beach chalet, which has limited choice, could be improved.

Room in new apartments, very comfortable and extremely clean. Easy communication with the manager who promptly and clearly provided the instructions for self check-in (available during nighttime hours). Great location for those who want to enjoy the beautiful beach of Cagliari, just a few meters away. In the morning, the staff at the reception was very kind in helping me find some information that I needed for my upcoming travels.

Booked last minute to stay at Le Palmette Suites, in October 22 and was not disappointed. What fantastic host Carmen was. She organised flowers, Prosecco and food in our room on arrival as a surprise for my wife for our anniversary. Offered great advice on what to do, organised some trips for us, cooking and boat trip especially good. Rooms very nice and modern, breakfast at the La Palmette beach bar, a short walk from the rooms and a really good breakfast with sea view on the 7km Poetto Beach. The beach has several bars and restaurants along the stretch, we were off season but I imagine very lively in summer. Cagliari city centre about 15 minutes by bus with regular buses until 22:30. Highly recommended, great location, fantastic host and will definitely go back if visiting Sardinia again! I booked directly on the La Palmette website and got the best price and room availability.

We were very satisfied with the stay at Le Palmette Suites. The room was small but cozy and clean, there was also a balcony there and although the building is not placed directly on the Il Poetto beach (but in the second row of buildings) you could see a "piece" of sea from it. As our arrival was delayed and we arrived at 2 AM, there was no problem to get to the room thanks to the instructions we got before (as the reception is not working 24 hours a day). The best thing were the breakfasts in the nearby restaurant on the Il Poetto beach which were included in the price of our stay. The position of the Le Palmette Suites is very convenient as it is 10 minutes from the city center yet it is in a very quiet and nice place.

Very nice, helpful and available to us as guests. They arranged pick-up from the airport with short notice and suggested activities around Cagliari. The rooms are fresh with air conditioning and en suite shower, very good standard. It's located very close to the beach which is also very nice, with good fine sand and clear water.

We spent three nights at Le Palmette Suites and it made our journey even more wonderful. The communication with the host (Claudia) was smooth and she took care of every detail during our stay. The location is a highlight point which is just 2 minutes by foot from Potte beach. It's a perfect location and the room is modern and stylish, we really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this accommodation to everyone traveling to Cagliari.

Our stay was perfect. Both hosts were so kind. They helped us with everything and were always available when we needed something. The location of the property was perfect, 30 seconds away from the beach. Amazing new rooms, always clean. The breakfast, at their restaurant, right at the beach, was incredible with the view on the sea, amazing. Would recommend it to everyone!

One of the best designed rooms we have stayed in. The breakfast was amazing. Very close to the beach. The only downside, which can be a big issue in some situations, is that the walls are paper-thin. You can hear every word (or noise) other guests are saying. Other than that, everything is perfect.

Le Palmette has the perfect location to access the Poetto beach area. Our room was very clean with a great little outdoor space. A block from the beach, several restaurants, and hiking trails. Our booking included breakfast at the Le Palmette beach bar. We went there for dinner one night too which was great. We got 10% off at the restaurant and for beach chairs by staying here with was a nice perk!
