For this reason, we aim to attract quiet families who love and respect the peace this beautiful village offers. This place is not suitable for young children, who often come with the intention of disrupting the serenity and are always willing to disobey the healthy rules that only ask for respect during the night and early afternoon hours.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a freezer, microwave, blender, electric kettle, pots and pans, and is perfect for preparing delicious meals to enjoy in the wonderful outdoor area. The sea-view barbecue adds a special touch to al fresco dining, while the large panoramic terrace, furnished with a large table and comfortable armchairs, offers spectacular sea views, making every meal an unforgettable experience.

Making everything even more extraordinary is a private pool where you can relax in the sun or have fun in the water, surrounded by loungers perfect for enjoying the sea breeze. Hospitality is an integral part of the experience: we are always available for advice and suggestions, ready to offer you a point of reference during your stay.

Hello, my name is Bonaria. I was born and raised in a small village in Barbagia, and even though I left it quite early, I carry with me the ancient culture and the strong principles of respect that this little place instilled in me. I have been living in Budoni for 40 years, where I have developed a love for the beauty of the sea, nature, and everything it offers. I consider myself a curious person, always seeking new experiences and knowledge. I see myself as empathetic, ready to listen and help others, whether they are people or animals, regardless of race, shape, or color. When I set a goal, I do everything I can to achieve it, despite the challenges I may face.

Art is a fundamental part of my life. I spend hours getting lost in colors and shapes. I believe it is a powerful means of communication and a way to explore the depths of the human soul. Nature is my refuge. I love taking long walks or simply sitting by the sea, listening to the sound of the waves. I enjoy traveling and discovering the world, and I appreciate the exchange of different cultures. I love socializing and welcoming my guests because they are important to me; they bring joy into my home.

The Refuge by the Sea is located in a small village called MaIamuri, just 1 km from Budoni. In ancient dialect, this name signifies that the people who once lived in the village were long-lived and took their time to pass away. It’s a peaceful place where the residents are kind and ready to welcome and assist others, and where it’s still common to sleep with the doors open. Picture vast beaches, as if someone had laid down a soft sand carpet larger than a hundred football fields! The sand is so fine that walking on it feels like stepping on a giant pillow.

The sea is vast, blue, and clear, allowing you to see little fish swimming and colorful shells on the seabed. But do you know what’s even more thrilling? You can become an explorer! There are boat trips from nearby harbors to visit magical and mysterious islands, akin to discovering secret worlds, just like in your favorite adventure books.

You can also take walks amidst nature, as if you were in a mysterious jungle. It feels like uncovering hidden worlds and encountering animals and plants you’ve never seen before. It’s like being on vacation in many different places all at once, with pristine beaches and islands, all in one fantastic journey.
