Description

Il Vigneto offers guests 6 comfortable rooms, a suite which can accomodate 2 double beds, a junior suite with its own balcony and four double rooms; all furnished with esquisite attention to details. Our Restaurant propose a traditional and creative menu.

Our guests are welcomed by spectacular, unobstructed views of fine vineyards and ancient castles, quite and relaxing ambient.

The two managers are Rossano and Manolo Allochis: Rossano taking care of the dining room and Manolo is the Chef. After few years and experiences in Italy and around the World, they decided to start a new challange: open IL VIGNETO…. a restaurant, a country house with 6 rooms on the top of one important hill, under the Barolo area with a spectacul view.

Our cuisine prepare and suggest a menu with a selection of appetizers, pasta and main course following the season to prepare traditional and innovative dishes under the creation of the Chef Manolo Allochis.

During spring and summer time our menu propose also sea-food dishes where our guests can enjoy lunch and dinner seat outside on a panoramic terrace.

From september to december we collaborate with trusted truffle-hunter to assure the best quality for the white truffle.

Rossano Allochis of Cavour (TO), 1976.

A passion for the job, inborn versatility and a spirit of adventure have led Rossano to hold a number of increasingly prestigious positions: he has been a waiter in famous Italian and British Restaurants, a barman at the Villa d’Este in Cernobbio on the Lake of Como and at Gleneagles Grand Hotel in Scotland, head waiter at Alfredo’s Restaurant at Disney World in Orlando and hotel manager for two years on board of a private yacht in Monte Carlo.

Finished the Hotellerie school Manolo start his experience in various local restaurant, then spended a season in France, Lione, at the Leon de Lion restaurant, had an important stage at the Enoteca Pinchiorri in Florence, moved to Valle d’Aosta at the Hotel Miramonti as head chef, in Elba Island for a seson; he also emproved his skills at La ciau del tornavento, a star michelin restaurant…last occupation before to become executive chef here at IL VIGNETO!

Returned for the third time to this corner of paradise, the staff, under the attentive supervision of Rossano, once again amazed us with excellent organization and hospitality.
