Description

The Guest House Giulietta e Romeo is located in a characteristic building dating back to the early 20th century, completely built in stone. Our establishment is surrounded by nature, near Valgrande, the largest wild area in Italy. It is the ideal starting point for hiking or mountain biking, offering the opportunity to freely explore the pristine nature. Situated in the heart of the ancient village of Cossogno, it is only a 10 minute drive from the shores of Lake Maggiore and 20 minutes from Lake Mergozzo. Our B&B has a delightful terrace with umbrellas and tables available to our guests, perfect for enjoying a healthy breakfast or relaxing at any time. All our rooms have a private bathroom with courtesy products, the possibility of an additional bed, a desk, kettle, without TV. Balcony with a small table and chairs, offering a side view of the lake and enchanting views of the forest.

We had a wonderful stay. The welcome was impeccable and very attentive, and the breakfast service was excellent. They took my food intolerances into account and pampered me as few places have in my experience. The property is beautiful, in a quiet area just 10 minutes from the lake. Highly recommended.

From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed. We would like to thank the helpful hosts, Carlo and Ettore, who were always very attentive to our wellbeing. The breakfast was also very tasty! And last but not least, our dog was welcome. Otherwise, the quiet location of the accommodation above Lake Maggiore, with numerous hiking and excursion opportunities, was perfect for us.

We had a perfect stay! We loved the small, charming town of Cossogno, which was a great middle ground between being close to the lake and the surrounding cities and offering a more secluded,'local' town experience. Our hosts Carlo and Ettore were great; they recommended restaurants, hikes and destinations to visit, kept the guesthouse and room perfectly clean and served a great breakfast. They even invited us, along with the other guest of the guesthouse, to a local festival, something we'll never forget! Thanks again Carlo and Ettore, arrivederci!

Carlo and Ettore are very warm, competent and helpful hosts. We had everything we needed. The location - a few minutes' drive from the tourist crowds - was just right for us. We enjoyed swimming in Lake Mergozzo.

Dear Ettore, dear Carlo, we arrived as strangers and left as friends! Thank you! Loving and perfect, one cannot find a more beautiful atmosphere. The breakfast is wonderful, every fulfillable wish is immediately addressed, the super beautiful view over Verbania to Lake Maggiore is very nice. We discovered this guesthouse during the Barter Week and we were very satisfied! The owners are very kind, the location is excellent for visiting Lake Maggiore and Lake Orta, and the rooms have everything needed to enjoy a relaxing weekend. I will not dwell too much, because it is enough to say 'home' to describe the Giulietta e Romeo Guest House. The hospitality that Ettore and Carlo offer is something to be experienced rather than described. A little corner of peace that has stolen my heart. We had a very relaxing stay. The setting is beautiful, away from the city for peace but close enough to visit. The breakfast was delicious and filled with local products. Carlo and Ettore are very welcoming and lovely: they took great care of us and advised us on the visits. A place to choose with your eyes closed.
