Description
Bed & Tours is a countryside retreat surrounded by greenery, featuring three cozy rooms, each with a private bathroom, nestled within a spacious garden and offering free private parking. The establishment welcomes guests with a homely atmosphere, making one feel like they are staying at relatives' place in the countryside. It also provides an information point with maps and culinary suggestions to explore the best of Monferrato and Langhe.

Located directly on Provincial Road 46, Bed & Tours is the perfect stop for cyclists and motorcyclists. The location allows for routes through vineyards, hazelnut groves, and sunflowers, with curves and hills that make every ride enjoyable, whether on a bike or a motorcycle. Guests can stay for just one night, choose between a light or hearty breakfast, recharge and repair their bikes, securely store motorcycles and bicycles indoors, and receive personalized guidance on local routes.

During the week, stays are typically room-only, while on weekends, guests can enjoy breakfast in the vintage kitchen or outdoors in the lush garden. From May to September, there is an adults-only jacuzzi surrounded by greenery, perfect for relaxing moments accompanied by a glass of local wine.

The garden is the heart of the residence: a Mediterranean corner with cypress trees, olive trees, palms, lavender, aromatic herbs, and seating areas among lanterns and candles, ideal for reading and resting. Here, nature is respected and protected: the lawn management encourages the spontaneous growth of wildflowers, providing nourishment for pollinators and maintaining the balance of the ecosystem.

The establishment is LGBTQ+ friendly and offers an internal tour guide that suggests tours by car, on foot, or by bike to discover the area. A spacious sunbathing area with umbrellas and relaxation spaces enhances the overall stay experience.

Hey from Marilena

Member since July 2024 | 1,302 hits
The B&B is run by Marilena, a tour guide specialized in local marketing who takes pride in her exceptional region, which boasts a unique, understated charm recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site. A deep expert in the wine landscapes of Langhe, Roero, and Monferrato—her native land—she inherited from her Tuscan mother a passion for hospitality, conviviality, and initiative.

As a nature photographer and hiker, Marilena has been honored as a “Master of Hospitality” by the project “After UNESCO, I Act!” initiated by the Culture and Tourism Department of the Piedmont Region to recognize individuals who stand out with creative initiatives and actions in their territory. A member of the Slow Food community, she offers refined, creative, and cultural hospitality in her charming home in Monferrato, always maintaining a warm and genuine family atmosphere, along with tailored tourist services based on the tastes and needs of her guests.

In 2023, she received the recognition of “Entrepreneur of Kindness” from the National Network of Kindness Entrepreneurs. She is well-equipped to recommend the best cultural, artistic, historical, and gourmet itineraries in Piedmont.

The core values upheld by Bed & Tours include a love for nature, environmental awareness, respect for the ecosystem, maintaining balance, and animal protection.

We are guardians of our habitat, defending nature and every species that inhabits it, with extensive knowledge of the plants and animals in this diverse region of forests, vineyards, and hazelnut groves.

You will have access to expertise and guidance to connect with nature and engage with our unique landscape, rich in biodiversity.

Bed&Tours was conceived by Marilena, a tour guide who has redefined the traditional notion of hospitality typical of bed and breakfasts, introducing a new concept of "sleep and explore." This approach allows visitors to uncover the most authentic secrets of Monferrato, a region abundant with opportunities for a refreshing vacation, encompassing wine, gastronomy, breathtaking landscapes, and historical, cultural, and natural sites, as well as charming, lesser-known corners.

Located near the famous Langhe area, Monferrato is currently experiencing a vibrant period, attracting discerning travelers drawn by its tranquility, the modesty of its residents, and a picturesque landscape that is still partially uncharted.

Marilena warmly welcomes you into her home and, from morning to night, shares her thirty years of experience in the tourism industry and her passion for her homeland, ultimately helping you fall in love with it.

Equally valuable are the travel tips, local shopping destinations, a map of restaurants, wine bars, and shops in the area, along with an always-updated events calendar.

It is worth noting that the establishment is also ideal for business travelers, providing every comfort and professionalism.

Nestled in the small agricultural village of Castelnuovo Belbo, along the banks of the Belbo stream, in the heart of a dense network of cycling routes on the "Wine Road" along S.P. 46 between the provinces of Asti and Alessandria, it is very close to the main roadways and conveniently located near the ASTI Ovest and ALESSANDRIA Sud highway exits, making it a strategic location for planning and embarking on the best itineraries and excursions in Monferrato and the Langhe, with the expertise of a professional tour guide.

It's easy to understand why it received UNESCO recognition in June 2014: gentle hills stretching as far as the eye can see, and a fertile terroir that yields exceptional fruits and products.
