Salerno Airport - Pontecagnano

The airport is being renovated and adapted to host civilian traffic. The installation of a VOR system, lighting system, furniture, check-in desks, baggage conveyors, and waiting rooms are now completed. As regards road connections, the "Aversana" statal road going from Salerno's industrial zone down to the Nature Park of Cilento and the Diano Valley will be soon completed. The airport is currently used by the helicopters of the Force of Carabinieri, the flight school and private business jets.
