Safari Park

Welcome to the SafariPark The park is situated in the hillside of Novara, only a few kilometres from Lake Maggiore. The park is set in an area of 400.000 m= and it is in this ample area, thanks to Orfeo Triberti, that two big parks have been created: the Animal Safari Park and the Funfair Park. The Safari Park allows visitors to travel through either in their own vehicles or on one of our tourist trains. Along the route, guests are welcome to photograph all the animals; the enormous rhinoceroses, the majestic lions, thecurious giraffes, the elegant cheetahs, the great African antelopes, the crafty tigers and the playful monkeys, to name but a few. The Funfair offers a variety of attractions, a real winner with both children and adults alike; the Ferris Wheel, the Log Flume, the Pirate Ship, 5D Cinema and the Green Caterpillar and much more besides. Live shows are held in the "Roman Arena"; Latin Fantasy, Games and Magic from Ancient Rome as well as a wonderful exhibition of parrots in full flight. Great American bison can be viewed on the Far West Farm as well as cows, donkeys, goats, hens, rabbits and many more animals from a farming tradition of days gone by. Guests can help the expert falcon handler during the "Flying falcon" show. Firm favourites with our guests are the Aquarium, the Reptile House and the Insect House. Don't miss the Jurassic Park and the Butterfly and Beetles show. A bar, a self service cafè, a pizzeria, a sandwich bar, and a barbecue house, all with healthy, wholesome foods, are available for our guests' enjoyment. Enjoy your stay and have fun.
