Park Villa Rossini
Rossini Art Site is a unique place that hosts one of the most important Contemporary Art collections in the open air. Nestled in the green area to the north of Milan, this park aims to merge art and nature, culture and delight. With an exhibition area of more than 120 acres, Rossini Art Site is a real journey into the history of post-war sculpture and an exploration of the many forms and features that national and international Abstract Sculpture has undertaken throughout the last decades.
Pursuing the desire to integrate art, environment and architecture in a single concept, the Rossini family has commissioned to SITE studio and to New Yorker architect James Wines the design for the park entrance pavilion. Leading figure in the field of environmental design and organic architecture, Wines gave life to a building that resonates with the surroundings and becomes one with the landscape.
Designed in accordance with its founder’s love for both art and nature, Rossini Art Site seeks to provide a flexible and enjoyable space and welcomes families and kids. RAS offers a wide events programme that ranges from guided tours and live performances to family workshops and much more. Rossini Art Site is part of Grandi Giardini Italiani; this is a network of 120 among the most beautiful gardens open to the public that aims to enhance this precious heritage by means of Marketing and Communications. The Rossini Collection is also part of the Ville Aperte itinerary, which is a very successful series of events supported and organized regionally so to promote a valuable cultural and touristic offer.
Rossini Art Site collaborates with high standard partners so to provide the best hospitality and catering.
Everything is designed to ensure RAS is the perfect spot for a reinvigorating weekend away from the city.
At Rossini Art Site, it is also possible to organise private events, meetings and parties.
