Museum Ponchielliano

Located in a small village in the countryside near Cremona, the Pochielli Museum have the largest collection of memorabilia related to the composer Amilcare Ponchielli, who was born here in 1834. Inside his house you can admire some original tools and furnishings, several of his manuscripts and a curious section on post-mortem fame, with the documents of the celebrations and works of art that contributed to the diffusion of his works, including "La Gioconda" with the famous aria "La danza delle ore".
