A museum of Mankind in the Alps
St. Michael's Museum is the greatest regional Italian museum of folk traditions. In an original and higly fascinating progress along four floors and more than 40 rooms, the Museum covers every aspect of the traditional culture of Trentino: agriculture, arts and crafts, folklore. Housed in a medieval Augustinian monastery, the Museum is the ideal place to discover memories and traditions of the valleys of Trentino.
Opening times
Open EVERY DAY, 9.00 - 12.30 / 14.30 - 18.00
Closed on Mondays (unless Holiday-mondays) and 1st January,
1st November, Christmas Day.

Full fee E 6,00 – reduced fee (groups, families, etc.) E 4,00
Free entry the under 14's and
Guided tours (about 2 hours - E 2,00 in addition to the applicable entrance fee) and school visits upon booking.

The Museum is located in San Michele all'ADige, 17 km north of Trento, on road SS 43. It can be reached:
- by car/bus: A 22 motorway - San Michele Mezzocorona exit (1 km)
- by train: Ferrovia Trento-Malé – Grumo San Michele station (1 km)
- by train: FS – Mezzocorona station (2 km)
