La cattedrale di San Martino è il principale luogo di culto cattolico della città di Lucca, chiesa madre dell'omonima arcidiocesi. Secondo la tradizione, il duomo fu fondato da San Frediano nel VI secolo, poi riedificato da Anselmo da Baggio, vescovo della città, nel 1060 ed infine rimaneggiato tra il XII e il XIII secolo.
