Ruspoli Castle

Castello Ruspoli is an historical mansion house, of high artistic and cultural interest, based in the heart of Vignanello, a little village nestle into the Cimini’s hills, not far from Viterbo. It’s famous thank to his beautiful garden all’italiana aged 1611, nowadays one of the best preserved garden in the world, and to have hosted for two years the great composer George Friedrich Haendel, who composed in Vignanello some of his most important works. The Castle today belong to the same family from more than five century, and it’s open for guided tours from April till the end of November, with ticket from 6 to 10 €.
