Description

B&B San Nicola is situated in a historic building in the centre of Bobbio on the peaceful street with an independent entry.

Our rooms are all ensuite.

Our B&B is situated close to Restaurant Enoteca San Nicola where the breakfast is served.

Facilities: wifi, fridge with the complimentary mineral water, breakfast included, independent entry.

The tourist tax charge is not included in the room price. It is an extra payment of 1€ per person, per night.

Our B&B is situated close to Restaurant Enoteca San Nicola where the breakfast is served.

Breakfast includes savoury (cheese, ham, eggs) or sweet (crossaint, home made jams, fruit juice, yoghurt) options.

Restaurant

Marisa Bonacina, daughter of owners Miriam and Piero, has brought a very interesting personal twist to the kitchen: she often seeks unique combinations even in the restaurant's most well-known and historic recipes.

For the past few years, her husband Davide Gatti has been managing the cellar and the service in the dining room alongside his mother-in-law. The wine list offers the possibility to choose from hundreds of Italian and foreign labels, including some bottles of historic vintages.

For some years now, the San Nicola Wine Shop has also been able to welcome its customers in elegantly furnished rooms, each with its own bathroom.

The structure is located a few steps from the historic center but outside the ZTL, close to convenient public parking. Spacious and comfortable room, also very quiet. Impeccable cleaning. Ms. Miriam is very nice, hospitable, and knowledgeable. The location of the Beb is excellent in a historic building in the city center, and the rooms maintain the historical yet functional characteristics.

The structure is located in the very central area of the village and is ancient but newly renovated. All the details of the furniture, floors, ceilings, and furnishings evoke antiquity very much. Impeccable cleanliness. The breakfast is spectacular and certainly satisfies even the most refined tastes. Finally, Mrs. Miriam manages the property with great dedication, passion, and professionalism. Absolutely recommended.

Beautiful experience! The Lady is wonderful! Everything was perfect, from the room to the breakfast, we also dined at their restaurant/wine bar and we loved it a lot, great food and a wide selection of excellent wines. Breakfast was also superb with excellent cakes and a great variety. The location is very convenient for exploring the beautiful center of Bobbio, we parked a few meters from the property. We will come back!

We stayed at this property for two nights. It is located in the heart of the historic center of Bobbio (a stunning village!) but at the same time in a very quiet alley. Our room was on the first floor, composed of two rooms (in addition to the bathroom) beautifully furnished with a stunning terracotta floor. Very comfortable bed and impeccable room cleanliness. Perfect lighting, both from the windows (equipped with comfortable mosquito nets) and from the numerous lamps. We also appreciated finding a kettle and teas in the room. A refrigerator with water bottles placed on the stairs and available to guests speaks volumes about the welcome and availability of the tireless Mrs. Miriam. The breakfast, served in an adjacent room, is really varied: it offers both hot products, good cakes, and exquisite homemade jams (obviously made by Miriam). We've just been there but we can't wait to go back!

Beautiful rooms in an ancient house in the center of Bobbio, comfortable beds and bathrooms with great shower. Maximum three minutes from any shop, bar, or restaurant and 5 from the old bridge. The soul of B&B San Nicola is the tireless Miriam who welcomes with a smile. Very rich breakfast selection, also savory. Next to it is the restaurant San Nicola, owned by the same property, equally welcoming.

We stayed one night at this lovely B&B San Nicola. The suite was spotlessly clean and the bed very comfortable. The rooms are in an ancient converted monastery and our room had a frescoed ceiling. Breakfast was excellent, as was dinner at Ristorante San Nicola. The hosts could not have been nicer - friendly and very helpful. Parking is around the corner in a public lot. Would highly recommend.

The room is clean and the breakfast is abundant. The owner is very kind and helpful. The room is located in an attic but it is very small. It is not recommended for a large person, imagine for two. Not recommended for those suffering from claustrophobia.

Two nights at B&B San Nicola: a decent accommodation in ancient spaces made available for hospitality. A lady, Maria Antonietta, who is a volcano of friendliness and empathy. The room "Buongiorno, Notte" was perfect, spacious, airy, spotless. Ideal for families! The manager was very helpful and friendly. The property is located along the outer perimeter of the old village, making it very convenient for logistics as you are immediately in the heart of the village, but also has parking possibilities just 1 minute away on foot. I would only recommend putting a mini fridge in the room to keep drinks or local delicacies cool.

The lady who runs the B&B is efficient, friendly and attentive to the guest's needs. Excellent breakfast service as well as quality and quantity. The property is located in the historic center of Bobbio, very convenient for visiting the town; nevertheless, it's possible to find free parking just a few steps away. The property also has a restaurant, but my wife and I, who stayed only one night, did not have the opportunity to use it.

Unfortunately, despite being very well received and warmly welcomed, I couldn't give a better rating for cleanliness. I found breadcrumbs on the desk, I reported it and was told that maybe it was a bit of plaster that had fallen from the ceiling (which is wonderfully decorated). I went back to the room and checked, but no, they were indeed scattered breadcrumbs. I didn't say anything more because I didn't use the desk anyway, and besides, I kept forgetting every time I saw the owner. Additionally, a corner of the bathroom door was decorated with quite a few cobwebs, and the toilet, which seemed clean, when I disinfected it myself for safety, I found that the outer 5 cm on each side were less clean, as if it had been hastily cleaned. Wonderful property and wonderful hospitality, with some attention to detail it would deserve praise!
