The B&B is situated in an ancient medieval village perched on a hill that overlooks the Orta River valley within the Majella National Park.
The establishment is located near several significant scenic and cultural attractions: the Cisterna waterfall (a natural rock pool in the Orta River reserve); the Luchi, characteristic geological formations (known as karst canyons along the Orta valley); the Piccioni caves, the Scura cave, and the Orta Valley, a river valley characterized by stone and terraced landscapes that are highly favored by hikers.

A welcoming and comfortable facility, nothing is missing! We felt at home. Even the people at the bar where we had breakfast were always available for all our needs. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to spend a few days in tranquility surrounded by nature.

I stayed at the B&B La Cisterna for the May Day holiday, with my family. I didn't have the opportunity to meet Mrs. Carmen in person, but it was enough to exchange phone contacts to understand that she is a lovely person. The B&B is wonderful, especially for its structure, my children were thrilled. When we discovered the immense terrace, we were speechless. Not to mention the rest of the house, all for us, cozy and simply perfect. Even the breakfast at the village bar is plentiful and delicious.

Very cozy and detailed house, warm and comfortable rooms, very clean and pleasant environments. But the real difference is made by the owners who, with great availability and courtesy, strive to satisfy every little need of their guests. Thanks again for the caring hospitality and the affectionate sharing! Excellent breakfast at "Bar dei Tigli" accompanied by the smiles and friendliness of the young owners. Excellent value for money.
