Description

This is a Walser-style mountain house that comprises of three bedrooms, each with a private bathroom, and a cozy wooden living room (the "schtuba") which is perfect for breakfast in the morning and pleasant conversations around the warmth of the typical stone Walser stove in the evening.

Located in an enchanting position, in the heart of the small hamlet of Ponte (at an altitude of 1290 meters), at the foot of the famous "Toce Waterfall", surrounded by the greenery of meadows, pastures, and large larch forests.

Simple but quiet structure, clean and tastefully furnished. Our four-legged friends are allowed with a small surcharge. Excellent and abundant breakfast if you're looking for something not 'globalized', with a choice between sweet and savory with homemade pies, strudel, jams, and fresh local products. Excellent base for a visit to the Toce Waterfall and excursions in high Val Formazza. Recommended!

Fantastic Walser house, genuine breakfast with homemade products, excellent cakes especially the blueberry and walnut strudel, homemade bread accompanied by local jams. Ample internal parking and bus stop 50 meters away. Starting point for hiking trails. Kindness and professionalism of the hosts Piero and Daniela. Highly recommended.

We spent only one night at B&B Zumsteg but we can consider ourselves fully satisfied with everything. Courteous and friendly hosts, pleasant atmosphere, and environment, delicious and abundant breakfast. Convenient for reaching the Toce waterfall via an easily accessible path or for moving towards Lake Morasco, an area from which trails to the mountains start. Our expectations were fully met.

Bellissima struttura nel cuore di Ponte. I proprietari sono stati gentilissimi e molto disponibili, soprattutto viste le nostre esigenze di sveglia all'alba. Purtroppo il nostro soggiorno è stato breve e un po' frenetico ma torneremo alla prima occasione per assaporare meglio la tranquillità della valle.

Piccolo B&B situato in zona tranquilla nella splendida località di Ponte. La camera è pulita e dotata di ogni comfort. Piccola ma molto curata e carina. Se possiamo dare un consiglio però, dato che non ci sono tapparelle nè persiane, ci vorrebbero delle tende più scure perché al mattino alle 6 eravamo già svegli per la luce. La colazione abbondante, buonissime le marmellate preparate dalla proprietaria. Gestori gentili e disponibili. Torneremo e lo consigliamo a chi ama la montagna e la tranquillità.

Bellissima struttura, pulita, e vicino al torrente. Colazione Buona e abbondante. Gestori cordiali, il B&B si trova a 150 mt dal minimarket, abbiamo comprato affettati e pane e siamo andati alle cascate del Toce. Struttura perfetta per rilassarsi.

Sehr gemütlich, sehr freundlich, einfach super. Das Formazzatal im Norden des Piemont, hat uns fasziniert. Ein Erlebnis besonderer Art war für uns das B&B Zumsteg. Das zwar kleine Zimmer, war sehr sauber und die Schtuba war sehr authentisch und traditionell eingerichtet. Das Frühstücksbuffet war ausgezeichnet (super selbstgemachte Marmlade). Gastfreundschaft hervorragend, Lage sehr gut, kurz: ein Aufenthalt sehr zu empfehlen!
