Description

This is a Walser-style mountain house that comprises of three bedrooms, each with a private bathroom, and a cozy wooden living room (the "schtuba") which is perfect for breakfast in the morning and pleasant conversations around the warmth of the typical stone Walser stove in the evening.

Located in an enchanting position, in the heart of the small hamlet of Ponte (at an altitude of 1290 meters), at the foot of the famous "Toce Waterfall", surrounded by the greenery of meadows, pastures, and large larch forests.

Quaint accommodation in a house on the water with pretty small rooms, clean and tasteful. Great breakfast with homemade jams, cakes, cookies, muffins and also ham and cheese. Beautifully furnished Walserstube is available for breakfast and as a common room, with a kettle for coffee and tea in between.

Simple but quiet structure, clean and tastefully furnished. Our four-legged friends are allowed with a small surcharge. Excellent and abundant breakfast if you're looking for something not 'globalized', with a choice between sweet and savory with homemade pies, strudel, jams, and fresh local products. Excellent base for a visit to the Toce Waterfall and excursions in high Val Formazza. Recommended!

Fantastic Walser house, genuine breakfast with homemade products, excellent cakes especially the blueberry and walnut strudel, homemade bread accompanied by local jams. Ample internal parking and bus stop 50 meters away. Starting point for hiking trails. Kindness and professionalism of the hosts Piero and Daniela. Highly recommended.

We spent only one night at B&B Zumsteg but we can consider ourselves fully satisfied with everything. Courteous and friendly hosts, pleasant atmosphere, and environment, delicious and abundant breakfast. Convenient for reaching the Toce waterfall via an easily accessible path or for moving towards Lake Morasco, an area from which trails to the mountains start. Our expectations were fully met.

Small B&B located in a quiet area in the beautiful town of Ponte. The room is clean and equipped with every comfort. Small but very well-kept and cute. If we can give a piece of advice though, since there are no shutters or blinds, darker curtains would be needed because in the morning at 6 we were already awake due to the light. Abundant breakfast, delicious jams prepared by the owner. Kind and helpful hosts. We will come back and recommend it to those who love the mountains and tranquility.

Beautiful structure, clean and close to the stream. Good and abundant breakfast. Friendly managers, the B&B Zumsteg is located 150 meters from the minimarket, we bought cold cuts and bread and went to the Toce waterfalls. Perfect structure to relax.

Very cozy, very friendly, simply super. The Formazza Valley in the north of Piedmont fascinated us. A special experience for us was the B&B Zumsteg. Although the room was small, it was very clean and the Schtuba was furnished in a very authentic and traditional way. The breakfast buffet was excellent (super homemade jam). Hospitality was outstanding, location very good, in short: a stay highly recommended.
