In the middle of the Gulf of Policastro, strategically positioned between the pearl of the Tyrrhenian Sea, Maratea, and the island of Dino.
The B&B originates from the forty-year experience of the "historic" Nazionale Zimmer guesthouse.
It has 2 double rooms available (one with the possibility of a third bed), with en-suite bathroom, TV, minibar, breakfast in the garden, and private parking.
Very close to the sea, just a few steps from the Island of Dino with its spectacular caves; a few minutes away from the enchanting inlet of Castrocucco and the beautiful beaches of Maratea.
But the B&B is not just about the sea, the territory of Tortora is included in the Pollino National Park, where you can admire wild panoramas with the famous and almost unique "loricated pines" clinging to the cliffs.
After a nice visit to the nearby historic centers and their museums, what could be better than savoring the typical dishes of the delicious Calabrian cuisine with its fusilli, or the flavorful ravioli with ricotta and the famous Calabrian salami.

Simple structure, but clean and welcoming; everything in line with what the owners described. Excellent breakfast. Maximum availability and courtesy. An extra bed was added to a double room at no cost. The owners are very kind and helpful. Not far from Maratea. Parking in a private avenue.

Extremely clean room, large bathroom, missing toilet seat cover; small towels, no TV, there are quite a few mosquitoes without air conditioning. I paid 70 euros for a quadruple room without even breakfast, another 20 euros were needed. Went to the bar and spent 6 euros for 6 croissants, 3 cappuccinos, and 1 juice. Extremely dangerous parking exit, no visibility to the right or left.

Easily accessible facility, simple but well maintained, very clean and tidy. The manager was very kind and helpful. My husband and I stayed in the basement room: clean, airy, and very fresh. I must say I was pleasantly surprised because in seaside resorts I have always found poorly cleaned or poorly maintained facilities. We will definitely come back. I didn't rate the breakfast because we didn't have it (we could choose whether to have it or not).
