At Poldino, we have a historic farmhouse with deep roots, surrounded by an estate of ancient olive trees, from which we produce our exquisite extra virgin olive oil.
From our panoramic location, you can enjoy a lovely view of Montecatini and the picturesque villages that dot the surrounding hills. Hiking and mountain biking enthusiasts will discover numerous well-marked trails suitable for all skill levels. Additionally, just a short distance away lies the famous Saint James Path.
The tranquility of the area is perfect for embracing a "slow living" lifestyle, in harmony with nature's rhythms. You can relax with a good book under the shade of a majestic holm oak, serenaded by the sound of cicadas, or enjoy an outdoor breakfast accompanied by a rooster's crow, all while still being close to the vibrant social life, shopping, and museums that enrich the region, all easily accessible just a few kilometers away from us.
Our rooms are simple yet cozy, decorated in a Tuscan style.
We primarily offer two rooms, one double and one triple, each with a private bathroom. Upon request, we can provide a crib for younger children (ages 1-3). For larger families or groups, it is possible to combine additional rooms; in this case, we encourage you to contact us for more information.
We offer free private parking outside the property and complimentary Wi-Fi.

I am Veronica and with Michele I manage Da Poldino. Always passionate about nature and in search of a healthy and genuine life, we fell in love with this place where we now live, trying to return, where possible, to the habits of the past. Michele takes care of the vegetable garden and the farm, we have free-range chickens that give us excellent eggs, I produce lye (the natural detergent that our grandmothers used) and I love making soap at home, which I then share with our guests. We want to make them feel at ease as if they were at home and we try to make their stays comfortable. To this end, in the common room there is a kettle, a microwave, a coffee machine and a refrigerator available to everyone (it is not possible to cook, but to heat small snacks).
For those who wish, it is possible to arrange to enjoy an aperitif based on typical local products (extra service).

We had the pleasure of spending a night in this fantastic property with our children, and what can I say... it feels like going to a friend's house, a cousin, that you visit rarely, who lives in an enchanting place that you've talked about with everyone... this is Da Poldino, these are Veronica and Michele, two young people driven daily by love and passion for this wonderful estate, with breathtaking views, immersed in nature as we like it! They have a super attentive eye to the guests, a rare courtesy to find and above all you can perceive in every corner the passion and commitment to everything that is natural! Spacious and spotlessly clean rooms and bathrooms, delicious and plentiful breakfast, a yogurt that is hard to forget and a divine sleep! Immersed in the unique sounds of cicadas, among the olive trees and that cool breeze... divine, we will definitely come back!
