Beschreibung

The Bed & Breakfast La Collina is an enchanting stone cottage, typical of the traditional Tuscan countryside of 18th century. It is perched on a hill at the bottom of the Casentinesi Forest National Park, one of the largest in Europe.

The house has a stunning panoramic view of the valley below and faces the castle of Poppi, which is one of most well preserved in Tuscany.

The Bed & Breakfast La Collina offers three double rooms with private bathroom, well appointed with Italian style and original furniture
The house offers a warm and snug common area with a large fireplace, where it is possible to stay in company of the other guests, or just to relax reading or watching TV.

An extensive natural park with ancient oak trees and numerous corners where you can drop into the peace of the countryside surrounds the building.

La Collina offers 1 apartment restored with great attention to archetypal details and furniture according to Tuscan country life-style.

Il girasole is at the ground floor and has just been restructured; it consists of a small living room with fireplace, a kitchen, two bedrooms, one with a double bed, one with 2 single beds (sleeps 4), and a bathroom with shower. Tables and chairs for outdoor meals.

We would like to offer to those who desire something different to the usual holiday, a place where you will be received as a friend and where you will discover Italian hospitality at it’s best. Our desire is to turn your holiday into a good chance of improving your knowledge about Italy through discovering hills and lowlands, cities of art and natural parks, unique landscapes and impressive monuments, variety of traditions and customs and gastronomy or just learning a few words in the local language.

We can prepare for you a picnic bag for your excursion, discovering unspoilt nature, where it is still possible to swim in the clean clear mountain waters of the rivers, completely plunged into the natural landscape.

Nice property in a very quiet area. The owner is kind, but the cleanliness leaves something to be desired. Certainly not recent cobwebs, sanitary ware with the manufacturer's labels still visible, a large dog that, although friendly, roamed the common areas... not everyone may like it.

Beautiful farmhouse immersed in the countryside. The room is very spacious, with an external private bathroom, but very discreet thanks to a curtain that separates the doors from the common corridor. The breakfast is varied and abundant with packaged products for Covid norms compliance. Having stayed only one night, we did not see the main manager, but well replaced by other people. Courtesy is assured. If I have to find a flaw, perhaps the rooms and common areas are poorly lit.

A charming place surrounded by the gentle Tuscan hills. Imposing old oaks make everything more suggestive. The farmhouse is excellently furnished with beautiful and comfortable rooms. Very cordial hospitality from the manager.

Beautiful B&B, well-maintained and very clean. The owner is very kind. We were unlucky because our vacation was completely ruined by a very bad rain. There is little to visit in the surroundings and the roads are full of curves! Recommended place to completely disconnect from the daily chaos.

Thanks to its location, B&B La Collina is excellent for visiting the main attractions in Casentino. The farmhouse is beautiful, with a stunning view, very peaceful and quiet. The rooms are very nice and clean. The manager is kind and helpful in providing information. Good breakfast. Private parking.

In a precious corner of paradise, in the authentic heart of ancient Etruria, the Bed & Breakfast "B&B La Collina" is the cozy and warm home for everyone. Rustic and chic at the same time, respecting the ancient tradition of Tuscany in its external structure, elegant and warm inside, furnished with good taste with precious antique furniture, equipped with every comfort and meticulously cared for down to the smallest detail. Fabulous welcome from the owners, two special and wonderful people. Breakfast fit for a king with fresh ricotta from Talla, natural honey, homemade bread, local blackberry jam, and every other goodness. Rooms and bathrooms equipped with every comfort with the great added value of being immersed in the unique nature of Tuscany, among deer, wild boars, and little birds. Rating: 10 and praise. Thank you for everything: we will always come back to you!

Group of motorcyclists, we stopped, unfortunately, only one night. Warm welcome from the owners, accommodation in a very well renovated farmhouse, spacious and clean rooms, adequate services. Quiet place, on the edge of a forest where, in the evening, we could see wild boars and deer roaming freely. Inside the courtyard, protected by a gate, we could safely rest our motorcycles. If during our summer rides we should stop again in those areas we will not fail to return to your B&B. Thank you from all members of the group "in giro col Sic" 2016.

Not the easiest structure to reach, the room was comfortable and clean, small bathroom and therefore improvable. Also, breakfast could be improved. Convenient indoor parking and the possibility of using the pool.\n\nIn any case, good. I would go back and recommend it.
