Description

The B&B is located on the Main Canal, just a short walk (100 meters) from the Museum of Human Cultures of the Delta, the Roman Ship Museum, the Bridge of the Sbirri, and Palazzo Bellini.

It is near the Sisto Bridge (also known as the Bridge of Pythagoras), in the heart of the Historic Center of Comacchio, situated on the last of its ancient islands that has preserved its original shape.

The building is an old residence that has been recently renovated using eco-friendly construction techniques and materials, fully respecting the traditional style of Comacchiese houses. Guided tours of the Comacchio valleys can be arranged upon request. Two bicycles for cycling tourism are provided free of charge.

The owner of B&B La Pitagora has a diverse and international professional background, founded on strong technical skills and a natural ability for management and customer interaction. After graduating in 1992 with a diploma in Industrial Mechanical Engineering, achieving excellent marks in Industrial Economics, she gained her first work experience in production at a marine engine factory in Bendery, where she served as the head of the milling department.

Over the years, she expanded her skill set in various contexts, working in the service industry and developing organizational and interpersonal abilities. Some of her noteworthy experiences include working as a currency exchange operator at the General Markets in her city, serving as a family assistant, and later taking on a permanent position as a cashier at a bowling alley in Comacchio.

Since 2009, she has been the owner and manager of B&B La Pitagora, which she runs with care and dedication, providing attentive and authentic hospitality. Her knowledge of both Russian and Italian adds significant value, allowing her to engage with an international clientele and ensure a comfortable and personalized stay.

Pretty and clean room with air conditioning and all the comforts. Great location to visit the city and tour the Comacchio Valleys, kind and efficient the lady who hosted us. We were able to shelter our bikes in the small garden of the house.

Great one-night stay. Very efficient room with air conditioning and private bathroom. Possibility to park bikes in a closed courtyard with a key. Good breakfast served outdoors. The owner was very very helpful. As soon as we arrived, she made us find cold water (which is not common!). Highly recommended!

Comfortable Bed & Breakfast in the center of Comacchio with a view of the canals and very close to the Museum of the Ancient Delta, which also serves as a tourist information point. Excellent welcome from Oxana, superb breakfast with warm croissants, yogurt, freshly toasted bread, jam, etc. We stayed in a room with a bathroom and independent entrance, very comfortable.

I would say that we couldn't have chosen a better accommodation. The B&B is organized, clean, welcoming, and intimate. The breakfast is very abundant and well taken care of, and Oxana is available, smiling, and efficient. If we return to Comacchio or surroundings, we will certainly rely on La Pitagora again.

We stayed for a few days at this splendid Bed and Breakfast surrounded by charming canals and characteristic small bridges that cross it in the heart of the historic center of Comacchio, La Pitagora. Very quiet place, centrally located in Comacchio. Ideal for excursions, I recommend the bike tour of the valleys. There is an internal courtyard where you can park overnight. For the lazier ones, the beaches are a few kilometers away. Mrs. Oxana is very kind, the structure is very clean and the breakfast is excellent. For dinner, Comacchio offers many opportunities.

I stayed at the B&B during the birdwatching fair weekend. The location is very central but very quiet, and the view of the canal is very characteristic. The environment is clean and welcoming, it felt like being at home! My two children felt very comfortable, so much so that they wandered between the rooms as if they were at their own home. The breakfast is very good and well-prepared. Oxana, the owner, is very kind and helpful. The price is not very cheap but it is comparable to other B&Bs in the historic center area. And, in any case, it is well-deserved. I definitely recommend it.

I spent 2 days with my family in Comacchio and its surroundings. The structure has been recently modernized and the interiors are very welcoming and family-friendly. Unfortunately, in the bathroom assigned to us, there was only the bathtub and not the shower, but it was always pleasantly warm. A big disappointment was the total lack of internet connection, advertised on the website, which would have been useful for organizing our excursions. The location of the B&B is central, and you can walk around the entire center of Comacchio, while at the same time it is slightly away from the probable confusion of the high season. It is a very quiet place, it feels like being in a Venetian alley. The manager Oxana is caring, extremely polite, and kind, we liked her very much. Due to the aforementioned shortcomings, the quality/price ratio unfortunately suffers: 220 euros for 2 nights for a family of 4 with breakfast (it would have been 120 euros per night, but the manager gave us a nice discount). We really enjoyed the fresh juice and the fragrant brioche just baked at breakfast. All in all, we felt at ease.

Very nice, well-kept and clean place. The owner is very kind and helpful. It is located right in the center of Comacchio, with the windows of our room overlooking the canals. We got a room with an independent entrance that allowed us to come and go freely. We happened to be there in the middle of the Eel Festival, with stalls, tastings, people everywhere, and this B&B was a corner of peace.

We stayed for the weekend "Eel Festival". The owner of the B&B was very kind from the welcome. The environment is very well-kept and functional. The idea of the dependency with independent access is nice! It is located in a strategic position in the historic center of the town with a view of the canal (very romantic!). The breakfast is excellent, with yogurt, warm croissants, orange juice, and cappuccino "rating 10"! We will return. Thank you Oxana for the pampering.
