Description
Casa Battisti is located in the historical center of Padua, at 227 Via Cesare Battisti. It offers guests a spacious apartment on the top floor of a recently renovated historic building. The entrance is independent and there is an elevator.
It is an S.P.E.S facility, managed by the social cooperative E-Sfaira.
There are 6 rooms available, each with a private bathroom: 3 double and 3 single. All rooms have the possibility of an additional bed and are equipped with individual air conditioning units. Cribs and cots for children are also available.
Guests can enjoy a large indoor breakfast room, a fully equipped kitchen, and a beautiful terrace with a charming view of the roofs of downtown Padua. The atmosphere is simple and informal, making it a welcoming and peaceful environment.
All necessary tools for the well-being of children are provided, including changing tables, bottle warmers, strollers, high chairs, and cribs.
Hospitality is offered in a Bed and Breakfast (B&B) formula, and the price per room includes:
- The room with a private bathroom, with daily cleaning service and towel change every 3 days.
- Italian buffet breakfast (external service).
- Use of the living room and its facilities for meals.
- Use of kitchen equipment (refrigerator and microwave) to store or heat food.
- Wi-Fi internet access and a computer available to guests.
- Small pets are allowed.

S.P.E.S is an institution that has traditionally focused on the social and educational needs of families.
E-Sfaira is a social cooperative that has been assisting socially vulnerable women for many years, particularly single mothers and migrant women.
In the past two years, the cooperative has also operated as a type B organization, in response to the growing need for workplace support for women who possess valuable skills and abilities but lack the knowledge and practices necessary for effective employment (www.esfaira.it).
Casa Battisti is a women's employment project.
It offers accommodation services with bed and breakfast, as well as a solidarity work laboratory for women: a laboratory focused on the hospitality sector in tourism.
The women involved in the project learn to carry out all the required tasks (welcoming guests, concierge services, cleaning, wardrobe management, etc.) under the guidance of professionals.

Like being at home, Susy is amazing, caring. Very convenient for getting around downtown and for hospital needs, the convenience of the shared kitchen makes all the difference.

I arrived at 9 pm after a tiring day. I had asked for information via email to reach Casa Battisti by public transport from the station and then, getting off the tram, I had to walk for more than 200 civic numbers with my luggage! My single room was not at all comfortable, the bed and bathroom carpets were stained and dirty, in the bathroom there was a nauseating smell and the shower, lights, and sanitary ware were in extreme need of maintenance. The bedspread was folded in half, probably larger than the single bed, and the heat during the night was unbearable. The white armchair cover was dirty and looked like it had just been used, a horrible experience I would say, there wasn't even a lighter blanket in the wardrobe. The bed was quite dilapidated and squeaky, a piece from a landfill! The lady who welcomed me the night before was rather awkward and insecure, my receipt had already been printed and I had been given a discount (for hospitalization) of which I knew nothing and I was asked for a hospitalization certificate even before being admitted (the next morning at the hospital they were waiting for me for surgery). Poor organization and structure to be fixed, I think I would have slept much better in a hostel. I wouldn't have paid more than €20 and instead they asked me for €39. I would not recommend it to anyone.

Abbiamo trascorso, io e mia moglie, una settimana a casa Battisti. Posizione centrale, pulita, dotata di ogni confort, cucina a disposizione e soprattutto ci hanno stupito perché ci hanno invitato a fare colazione con le nostre figlie che studiano a Padova.
Grande disponibilità e serietà da parte dello staff ma soprattutto speciale la professionalità e simpatia della signora Susi. Ci ritorneremo con piacere dopo l'estate.

Struttura davvero buona, così pure la pulizia dei locali.
La cosa che mi ha colpita di più è l'accoglienza da parte del gestore, molto attenta, gentile, disponibile e premurosa (rispetto alle mie esigenze: ho una bambina piccola).
Il tutto molto gradevole, è stato come essere a casa, con tutte le comodità soprattutto nell'uso della cucina, la signora mi ha permesso di preparare un pranzo alla mia piccolina utilizzando la cucina in completa autonomia come fossi a casa.
Ancora grazie mille !
Lo consiglio davvero a chiunque, soprattutto a chi ha bambini.

Meravigliosa accoglienza e disponibilità da parte di tutte e due le persone della casa che ho conosciuto. Unico disappunto è stato non trovare prodotti per la doccia tranne un unico sapone ed ho fatto la doccia con il sapone che poi ho usato per le mani. Gli asciugamani erano durissimi e graffiavano la pelle. Bagno con accessori vecchi. Per il resto oltre all'ottima accoglienza, la possibilità di cucinare e stoviglie a disposizione. Ottimo riferimento per ritornare a Padova.

Posizione ottima, ampio parcheggio, stanze con bagno privato il tutto molto pulito e il risveglio con il profumo di brioches hanno reso il mio soggiorno perfetto. Per non parlare Dell estrema gentilezza e totale disponibilità del personale. Ciliegina sulla torta i dettagli handmade e l attenzione rivolta al sociale. Complimenti davvero "casa battisti".

Eravamo a Padova per poter esser in ospedale presto il mattino successivo, quindi non per motivi turistici. La struttura è molto accogliente ed anche il personale ci è stato di grande aiuto, soprattutto il mattino in quanto dovevamo preparare del cibo da portare in ospedale per il nostro bambino.

La signora che la gestisce si è mostrata sempre attenta e sorridente. La posizione è ottima per visitare il centro di Padova. L'atmosfera è familiare, gli ambienti sono puliti e per due mattine ci siamo svegliati con il profumo dei cornetti appena sfornati.
