Description
The village of Fornesighe, original for its architecture, when homes and villages were born spontaneously from the needs of rural life, offers tranquility, traditional hospitality in a sunny and strategic position for summer excursions or winter skiing.
"Dormì e Disnà" is a typical building made of wood and stone, renovated in full respect of the original structure, which in its articulated architecture houses rooms with bathroom of different types, apartments and a small restaurant.

An awakening in front of an incredibly beautiful panorama with a sweet classical music in the background.. and then breakfast!
We call it our Mediterranean breakfast..we have the idea that it is nice to offer what belongs to you through culture and tradition, so on our table you will find the homemade cake (and if you are vegan or celiac tell us that we will make a cake for you too) ), yogurt, muesli, flakes, fruit, very often in the form of fresh morning fruit salad, apple juice, at least a couple of quality breads, jams made by us but also packaged jams, fresh eggs organic peasants.., but if you can't absolutely do without salt, ask for it and we'll find it for you.

Restaurant
"nona giò" is the Dormì&Disnà restaurant, few seats, an old fogher with a modern fireplace, a simple but original environment. It was once the kitchen of grandmother Giovanna and as the name is linked to the history of these places, so too many of the dishes are linked to our territory.
Also open to the public, we like to think it is a place to relax and feel pampered, in hospitality and in eating well.
The small restaurant managed by Jasmeen and Giuseppe has an agreement with us - open from Thursday to Monday for dinner and aperitifs, Saturday and Sunday also for lunch - our guests who book at the restaurant receive a 20% discount per person for a menu of at least two courses, 10% discount for orders with catering service for those staying in an apartment (drinks and cover charge excluded) –
We advise you to BOOK IN ADVANCE.

You don't arrive here by accident or passing through, but when you enter in our house you feel welcomed by the warmth of the atmosphere..we love our country, our mountains in summer as in winter, we're not crazy alpine skiers, but we will advise you of the good paths of mountaineering ski or snowshoes and in the summer you'll be spoiled for choice between quiet paths and more climbing.
For us to have guests in your home means to live in a wonderful place, a bit out of the world..but is the world to come here.

We enjoyed our stay at Fornesighe tremendously, especially for the outstanding location of our bed and breakfast. The hosts were extremely friendly, the location was great, our accommodation was spotless, and the breakfast fantastic. Furthermore, we got great recommendations for our day trips. What a great place! Right next to the bed-and-breakfast is an outstanding restaurant, which serves excellent food within a very short walking distance.

Wonderful Hosts, great place. My girlfriend and I dined at their Restaurant (food was marvelous), breakfast (if I could give more than 10 stars) almost everything we tasted was local grown products. I highly advise this location and we will definitely return.

This structure leaves one speechless because it welcomes discreetly but every detail is an explosion of originality... in the true sense of the word. You feel like you're in an ancient time but with today's eyes. The whole house smells of ancient and charm and there are no two identical walls or two identical wooden beams. And this apparent confusion is instead beautiful. The welcoming and caring hostess, the sincere and delicious cuisine. It was truly regenerating 2 days. I recommend it to those who need to catch their breath from the frenzy.

We booked the small apartment with the fireplace. Stunning view of the mountains always kissed by the sun. The only negative downside in the room is the lack of light. Otherwise, everything was top-notch.

Chi pensa che legno e pietra siano sinonimi di vecchio e sorpassato deve soggiornare in questo B&B e capirà che il passato può solo arricchire il presente. Struttura curata nel dettaglio rispettando le caratteristiche delle antiche case di fornesighe. Anna e Renato da ottimi padroni di casa offrono validi consigli per escursioni sulle dolomiti e passeggiate tra i tipici paesi limitrofi. Consumare la colazione davanti a un magnifico panorama di montagna riempie non solo la pancia ma anche il cuore!

La posizione eccellente permette di muoversi per tutta la zona in modo semplice e completo. La camera è deliziosa e la vista sia dalla camera che dalla sala colazioni è impareggiabile. Perfetto. Grazie anche ai meravigliosi e attenti gestori.
