The B&B "LA DARSENA" is located in the historical center of Como in front of our wonderful lake just a few steps from the cathedral and Cavour square, in a tyipical lombard house of 1800 completely restored in the respect of the original structure.

At your disposal an indipendent apartment furnished with style and elegance composed of living room, bathroom, and a master bed room.

Its location is ideal for reaching the numerous points of interest in the city.

Very nice big modern room, very comfortable big bed and best shower I’ve ever used in my life. Well-equipped kitchen and bathroom. Very convenient location, right beside the train station and very close to central Como and the water.

Central location but very quiet, impeccable cleanliness, kindness of the owner, very comfortable bed, very much appreciated the kitchenette. A small apartment in the center equipped with all the comforts. We had a great time.

We stayed at La Darsena for the April 25th long weekend, it's the third time we've stayed at La Darsena. I believe there can't be a better structure for the kindness of the staff, cleanliness, location and also the very large and well-equipped room with bathroom.

Wonderful and super equipped room. In the heart of the city close to everything. Hairdryer, shampoo, shower gel and water in the room. Extremely kind owner. Only breakfast is missing but you can have it in a nearby bar. Absolutely come here!

The package does not include breakfast. However, we had a great time, especially for the central location, the car parking, and the possibility to move around in limited traffic areas. Kindness of the operator and excellent cleanliness in the beautiful room.

Great value for money! Beautiful, large, bright room with a small kitchenette and utensils, as well as a refrigerator. Central location with good public transport connections. Very nice and courteous hosts and flawless communication. We can only recommend the accommodation.

The structure is well-kept and modern, the cleanliness is impeccable, equipped with a spacious shower and a very comfortable bed. The only downside is the wifi connection, especially in the ground floor room where we stayed. Regarding the connection via Wind and Tim sim cards, it is problematic. The signal of their wifi, always in the ground floor room where we stayed, is not optimal. However, if you only need it to check emails or some web pages and you don't need a fast and responsive connection, it can be fine. Apart from this, from the manager to the structure to the location, I would give a rating of 10. There is nothing to complain about. The structure is highly recommended and we will return.

The location is great, at a short distance from the train station. The room was very clean and the bathroom is spacious. Unfortunately, I am unable to rate the breakfast because I had to catch an early train.

The B&B is located in the city center, in a very quiet and peaceful area. The room is on the ground floor. The furnishings are essential but complete, with a mini-fridge, a small kitchen, extra blankets, and pillows. The bathroom is spacious. There are four parking spaces for handicapped people 50 meters away. Very positive experience.

Great location, very central and close to the lake. I suggest including a basic breakfast in the price (just installing a coffee machine with 2 pods available, there is a kettle). I also recommend taking care to make the most of the outdoor area at the back.

Very nice place, very cozy Giuseppe and the whole family. Breakfast was not included, but Giuseppe gave us a voucher as a courtesy for each day to have breakfast at a bar a few meters away!

Perfect for our stay - 2 friends enjoying a room each next door to each other, very clean and comfortable. In a perfect location to walk to local restaurants etc. and back safely. La Darsena is wonderful! The host António greeted us warmly and gave clear instructions for everything. The room was clean and modern, the bed was extremely comfortable. The location is absolutely central and, still, was perfectly quiet at night. Really feel lucky to have found this place!

Very clean room and superbly located right in the center of Como, very close to the lake and the station, perfect location. The staff was more than kind and friendly, establishing trust with us. We arrived a little earlier than the scheduled time and they were kind enough to welcome us as the room was empty, and offered us breakfast, the payment was made in all trust. All in all a really nice accommodation. The front wall creates a nice atmosphere inside. Great central location. Although it's called bed&breakfast, unfortunately we were not offered any breakfast, nor vouchers as described by others here. The recommended café was closed on Monday mornings. For the tight garage, where the car is well taken care of, you have to pay an extra 10€. Price-quality ratio overall okay, but a bit high. Bathroom and room were cleaned perfectly, only the floor could have been a bit cleaner... We missed a bit of warmth and attention to detail. The landlord was very friendly but not very talkative, giving the impression that it's mainly about money here. However, highly recommended for one or two nights.

Absolutely fantastic! Save yourself some trouble and just book the place if you are staying in Como. Close to the station, the property is clean, tidy with very kind hosts. The rooms are newly renovated, huge compared to European standards and has a kitchenette if you prefer making your own meals. Hands down - the highlight stay of my Euro trip!

A wonderful place to stay for 2 nights. The host Antonio was really nice. The location was perfect, very close to Como Lago station but I barely heard a noise. Tucked away just behind the Palace hotel. This was a great location, so close to everything, 2 minutes walk from the Como ferry terminal and literally 1 minute to the Cathedral. I chose to stay in the 'modern' room which had a fridge, sink, small table and chairs, ideal for making breakfast and a coffee. I would most definitely stay here again, it was very reasonably priced compared to many other places. Highly recommended.

Lovely Stay at La Darsena. We stayed for 2 nights to visit Como and the surroundings, we loved everything at La Darsena. Josef and his brother are magnificent hosts, they helped us with all our questions. The rooms are so beautiful and clean, gorgeous. We will stay here again when we come back. Near all the beautiful places in Como, near the train station and the funicular to Brunate. 5 stars. Easy to find, just behind Palace Hotel.

Recently renewed B&B, with the amazing Lake of Como on one side and the Cathedral on the other. Charming host, amazing bedrooms (I was in the "ancient style" bedroom while my parents were in the most modern one so I was able to see both), clean and quiet place. The photos already say it all, in person the room is spectacular, moreover it does not need air conditioning at all, as the rock the house is built with makes the room very cool. \nThe owner is uniquely courteous and kind. We used the paid parking, and he had us put the car in his own closed garage, giving us the opportunity to leave it there all day on Monday while we were out. \nWe will definitely come back. \nThanks again Giuseppe for the welcome.

The landlord was very, very nice and helpful. The apartment is very tastefully and modernly designed. The bathroom is TOP. There is a small hob, coffee machine, and fridge. Great location near the lake. Parking directly near the apartment in the quieter part of the city. There are two vouchers for a breakfast with a lake view (!) in a cafe about 150 m away. All good!

Perfect accommodation in the center of Como, the lake with the ferry dock, the Cathedral, the train to Milan all nearby and yet completely quiet. The place is very clean and the room is furnished and decorated with attention to detail. For our taste, a cool design accommodation and a super central cool location, about 150 m to the central square and the lake. Our room was spacious enough, the bed and mattresses quite good. The bathroom was equipped with a very large shower / rain shower and everything else you need. The Wifi works well.\n\nA charming house, nicely decorated and a warm host. Antonio (the brother) welcomed us warmly and showed us everything, we immediately felt comfortable. Antonio gave us tips for restaurants, pizzerias in the area.\n\nThen for breakfast:\nThe B&B does not offer breakfast but..you receive a breakfast voucher for each morning in a very good cafe. The distance is not far. About 100-150 m to the central square. This did not bother us at all. There were 4 breakfast options to choose from, each with a coffee and a juice. For a "breakfast lover" it might be a bit too little but at least it's there, considering that in Italy breakfast is not so celebrated.\n\nUnfortunately, in this cafe, a coffee costs 4, -€ if you want to have a second or third one. But well..you can look for another small cafe for another one. There are some!\nCommunication worked quite well as Antonio speaks English quite well.\n\nWe will come back!

Casa d'Epoca in Centro, finemente ristrutturata, arredamento di Designe con possibilità di Garage interno. Vicinissima a lago, negozi, ristoranti e mezzi di trasporto. Accoglienza, Cortesia e massima Disponibilità da parte dei proprietari Pino e Antonio. Ogni volta che sono a Como vi soggiorno per alcuni giorni e questa volta ho inaugurato un'altra Suite semplicemente Favolosa, da mozzafiato. Ottima la Colazione servita a due minuti a piedi in uno dei Bar storici (Bar Touring) di Piazza Cavour con un Panorama Spettacolare Vista Lago e Monti servita da Battelli e Aliscafo, da poter visitare le più belle località del lago Cernobbio e Bellagio per citarne qualcuna. A cinque minuti dalla Funicolare per Brunate vista panoramica e Faro Voltiano a San Maurizio. Consiglio a tutti per qualità prezzo e servizi. Grazie di Tutto, alla prossima.

Il gestore della struttura cordiale e disponibile, appartamento ristrutturato a nuovo, ampia camera da letto e grande anche il bagno. Anche la colazione meritava. Avevo deciso di isolarmi dal mondo per un paio di giorni, e devo dire che il lago di Como è stata senz'altro la scelta più giusta che potessi fare. La struttura si trova in pieno centro e hai tutto a portata di mano. Il gestore a suo modo mi ha fatto compagnia ed è una persona carinissima. Inoltre avevo bisogno di una singola ma poiché non disponibile mi ha concesso la doppia allo stesso prezzo. La struttura è bella, pulita e silenziosa. La consiglio a chiunque. Se dovessi tornare qui, tornerei sempre nello stesso posto.

La posizione è eccellente, ad un passo da Piazza Cavour, la piazza principale di Como. La struttura è bella, silenziosa ed accogliente e il tutto è reso ancora più bello dalla scalinata in pietra che le conferisce una atmosfera antica e intima. Il B&B è spaziosissimo, luminoso, curato nei dettagli, con un salottino accogliente, un soppalco che abbellisce sebbene non sia ancora in uso, una stanza da letto confortevole. Il bagno moderno, appena ristrutturato con la doccia comodissima e una splendida luce favorisce una sensazione di relax, come stare a casa. Il gestore Giuseppe, disponibile, gentile e attento al benessere degli avventori. Le lenzuola e gli asciugamani vengono cambiati ogni due giorni, straordinario! E infine ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Promosso a pieni voti!

Buona struttura, camera grande ed indipendente con soggiorno, soppalco, bagno e camera matrimoniale, Tv in salotto, e sempre dalla sala vista lago, si è totalmente indipendenti ed la colazione si fa al bar, cappuccio brioches e succo di frutta, il tutto a soli 100 mt dalla struttura e di fianco al Duomo. La posizione è ottima, in centro, 100 mt dall'isola pedonale e dal lungolago e dalla stazione ferroviaria delle nord ed è in un angolo molto tranquillo, non si sente nessun rumore né proveniente dalla struttura né da fuori dalle strade e dalla stazione ferroviaria, un angolo di pace! Palazzo d'epoca ristrutturato mantenendo lo stile originale, con inserti in sasso e scala in pietra. Il gestore cortese e disponibile e vi dà le chiavi oltre che della stanza, anche del cancelletto che della porta d ingresso allo stabile. Un posto da tornarci molto volentieri. Grazie!
