Description

The B&B "Casa Margherita" stando in Piazza delle Erbe (Erbe Square), that is in the centre of Mantua. It's next to Palazzo Ducale and Castello San Giorgio (residence of Gonzaga's Family), and next to many others historical palaces and places of interest. The old house, typical example of Mantuan architecture, was widely restored: the owner Barbara and Andrea furnished it stylishly and soberly.

We offer to our guests three 60 mq rooms with private bathroom.

Moreover you can enjoy of a contiguous room, with evtl additional beds, on request.

The B&B "Casa Margherita" is the right solution if you want to visit a real treasure like Mantua is. Therère three little lakes that run right round the town. This one contains many art treasures and many works of Andrea Mantegna, Giulio Romano, Leon Battista Alberti and many other artists.

We stayed one night in this ancient charming property in the heart of the city of Mantua. The rooms are very spacious, clean, and tastefully furnished. Excellent breakfast served in a truly lovely little room. Mrs. Barbara is a delightful person to say the least: we felt welcomed as if we were family! We absolutely recommend Casa Margherita, the ideal solution for those who want to immerse themselves in the heart of the city and at the same time find a safe and welcoming haven to return to.

This property is centrally located, with a beautiful view of the city, excellent cleanliness, a delicious breakfast, and spacious and comfortable rooms. Barbara, the owner, is hospitable, kind, and always available, showing interest and attention towards her guests. I highly recommend this B&B and can't wait to go back!

Excellent Bed&Breakfast in Piazza delle Erbe, in the center of Mantova. Very clean, very spacious, with check-in available from 11 in the morning. Excellent welcome with kindness. Good breakfast with fresh croissants in a pleasant atmosphere. Very well-kept rooms overlooking the square. Pillows may be a bit too soft. To come back. Thanks to the owner!

Excellent location right in the center, convenient to have the ZTL pass, stunning double room in practice it's like having two communicating rooms with a shared bathroom (so for 4 people even if not related it's highly recommended), spacious and private, tasteful furnishings that create a lovely atmosphere. Unfortunately, due to anti-COVID rules, it was not possible to have breakfast in the delightful room where we glimpsed some beautiful porcelains, but we still enjoyed a voucher for the bar below so no inconvenience in the end. I didn't give a 10 to the structure, but a 9 only for the stairs; being in a historic building, it is obviously without an elevator, but luckily we got the first floor. I recommend it to everyone and if you happen to be in Mantova for a weekend in July and August, don't miss the trip on the Mincio to see the lotus flowers, if you start from Curtatone-Grazie you can also admire the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Grace and the small village, a destination for the madonnari gathering on August 15th.

We took advantage of a work commitment to visit Mantua. Luckily we stayed at the B&B Casa Margherita. Extremely central location, extreme cleanliness, delicious breakfast, but even more importantly the friendliness and availability of the owner. Absolutely recommended.

Delizioso B&B situato in posizione strategica in pieno centro vicino a monumenti, ristoranti e negozi. Una scala porta alle stanze (una per piano). La mia era doppia con un bagno e un piccolo corridoio, ideale per 2 amiche o famiglie. La proprietaria è gentilissima e disponibile e la colazione e’ servita in una elegante saletta con prodotti dolci freschissimi. Il costo onesto, considerate le due camere e la posizione. Veramente consigliabile!

Posto delizioso, in posizione centralissima, camere ampie e ben riscaldate. La signora Barbara è cordiale, premurosa e molto gentile, ci siamo sentiti i benvenuti anche con due bambini piccoli che creavano un po' di scompiglio! Assolutamente consigliato!

Ci siamo trovati benissimo, la posizione centrale ci ha consentito di girare sempre a piedi. La casa è ben arredata ed accogliente, le stanze grandi, la biancheria curata e tutto è molto pulito. La signora Barbara è molto affabile e ci ha dato un quadernino da lei scritto con i consigli sulla città. La colazione prevede solo alimenti dolci, forse si potrebbe aggiungere la frutta. Certamente ritorneremo in questa struttura alla prossima occasione.

Ho trascorso con mio marito un fantastico weekend a maggio in questo ottimo B&B. Il principale punto di forza è la centralità della struttura (che occupa 3 piani di un palazzo situato a due passi da Piazza delle Erbe e Piazza Sordello, centro di Mantova. Le camere sono enormi e pulite. Il bagno è enorme, pulito, dotato di vasca e doccia (mi permetto un piccolo consiglio alla propretaria, il bagno avrebbe a mio parere necessità di una ristrutturazione, i sanitari, doccia e vasca seppur pulitissimi e ben tenuti, mostrano ormai qualche anno). La colazione era buona e ricca: brioche, la tipica torta sbrisolona, biscotti, marmellate, latte, caffè, succhi, si potrebbe eventualmente arricchiarla con qualche cibo salato: formaggi, prosciutto. La proprietaria Barbara è stata gentilissima e disponibile, così come la sua collaboratirce che abbiamo conosciuto a colazione. Ottimo il rapporto qualità prezzo, ritorneremo sicuramente alla prossima visita a Mantova.

Siamo stati a Pasqua con mia moglie, mio figlio e i miei cognati. Se i voti possono apparire alti in effetti non è così perché la posizione di "Casa Margherita" merita 10 e lode, la signora Barbara 10 e lode per gentilezza, cortesia, familiarità, la stanza 10 e lode. Insomma, semmai i voti no rendono piena giustizia. La signora Barbara poi è rimasta davvero nei nostri ricordi più cari.

Excellent établissement décoré avec beaucoup de goût. Les chambres sont belles et spacieuses. Pour 3 (2 adultes +1 enfant de 7 ans) nous avons eu 1 suite avec 2 chambres pour le prix d'1 chambre. Le petit déjeuner est délicieux avec un gâteau maison en plus des viennoiseries habituelles et la propriétaire est charmante, parle anglais et français. Quant à la situation, elle est exceptionnelle, au milieu de la rue qui va de la place aux herbes au palais ducal (2 min d'1 côté, 3 min de l'autre).

Non ho messo tutti 10 altrimenti sembrava una recensione fasulla. È il B&B dei miei sogni, posizione centralissima, isolato acusticamente, pavimenti in legno, spazio a non finire, eleganza e cura dei particolari, colazione generosa in un salottino delizioso. La proprietaria è molto socievole e gentilissima. Flessibilità negli orari di arrivo e partenza. Ci torno tutti gli anni ed è come ritrovarsi a casa.
