Casa Vallona is a place of land, food, and rest. We are located in a village in the Bolognese Apennines, amidst ravines, forests, and vineyards. With love and dedication, we have returned here, following in the footsteps of our ancestors, to offer a second life to forgotten places destined to disappear.
Our agriculture is natural, and our hospitality is spontaneous. Come and get to know us!
Staying in our rural B&B means living a unique experience in an ancient farmhouse that has been conservatively restored. This is the beating heart of a secular village immersed in the ravines and forests of the Apennines - with exposed stone and bricks, cellars frozen in time, wood-fired ovens, red stone wells, turrets, barns, and stables.
Everything speaks of the silence and authenticity of a sober, now-remote life. A refuge with breathtaking views of forests, vineyards and hills as far as the eye can see, where you can rediscover the pleasure of a slow pace for your days.
At your disposal is the stove room, where you can enjoy breakfast or read a book.

Charming Bed and Breakfast with a taste of the past, nestled among hills and meadows. The rooms are well-furnished and welcoming, the breakfasts plentiful, homemade with genuine products (cakes, cookies, yogurt, bread, jams). Chiara, the owner, is very courteous and kind, ready to meet every request. It is a place of peace and well-being, where you feel the desire to return.

Casa Vallona and Chiara are gems. It is such a pleasure to stay in her historical farm house, cooking and eating the vegetables, herbs, olive oil and grain grown and made on the property. And of course the wine she makes from her vineyard! Chiara shows her love of the land and her family history throughout the property. We will be back! Seth and Phyllis.

I loved everything about the place. The Casa Vallona is beautiful, rural and simple but yet elegant. Everything was perfect. It was a stay beyond my expectations.

Great B&B nestled in the greenery in a very quiet place. The owner welcomed us impeccably, providing us with a lot of information about the history of the property (from 1200) and what to do in the surroundings. The breakfast was excellent, with homemade cakes and various sweets.

Characterized spaces, attention to details (color, furnishings). Chiara extremely helpful regarding check-in and check-out. We would have liked to stay for a meal, a fabulous place.
