Located at 800m on the Ocre Mountain Area, 10km from L'Aquila city, 18 from Campo Felice e Ovindoli ski area, 20km from Gran Sasso.

The Chalet can offer you the great experience to live "on the wood". This natural element and the amazing around area will give you a chance to visit "pure" sites, by simply walking or by mountain bike.

For all of you who wants, we can organize every level excursions starting for simple walking to more difficult ropes, in the summer as well in the Winter.

The outdoor Finnish sauna with wood stove is an extra service.

A few minutes from the L'Aquila, in Rocca di Mezzo direction, on the green and quiet of the town of Ocre (Sirente Velino Natural Park) at 800m above sea level.

The Ocre's Chalet, entirely of wood, is very close to the ski lifts of Campo Felice, Ovindoli and Campo Imperatore.

The Ocre Area is rich in history. In medieval times our population have contributed to the founding of L'Aquila. The Ocre Castle and the religious settlements of the Ocre Saint Angelo Convent and the Monastery of Santo Spirito d'Ocre are direct testimony of a place that has been the focus of the story.

The Chalet di Ocre is very characteristic, entirely made of wood, the rooms are really beautiful. It is strategically located 10 minutes from L'Aquila and 20 minutes from other tourist spots to visit. The breakfast was spectacular, very abundant with homemade sweets, very cute. Of course, all this would not have been possible without two exceptional hosts who gave us useful advice and welcomed us in a very warm way. I sincerely highly recommend this chalet.

I stayed at Lo Chalet di Ocre for only one night (unfortunately) for vacation, I was alone and I was lucky to have the chalet all to myself. Beautiful wooden structure, excellent cleanliness, quiet place, great location for excursions and in winter for skiing. The manager, Igor, is a very nice and kind guy. I will definitely come back soon.

Structure completely in wood in excellent condition. Good base for excursions and trips to the numerous attractions of the Abruzzo aquilano and beyond, just 10 km from the capital. Igor, the owner, a mine of information about the surroundings, with an excellent knowledge of the area, which he shares with passion.

Very pleasant stay! I chose the property for the presence of the car charging station (working perfectly at 6 kWh overnight!) and found an extremely friendly and kind host. The structure seems new as it is well-maintained and is located in a very peaceful setting just 10 km from L’Aquila. It is an excellent base for excursions and bike rides in the surroundings. I will definitely return.

Great structure, we took the Monte Ocre suite and it is very comfortable, also beautiful location with a view of the mountains. Excellent breakfast with homemade sweets. The owner Igor is very kind and knowledgeable about the attractions of the area.

The structure is easy to reach and well positioned. The manager was very kind, he gave us instructions to enter the structure and many tips on our summer itineraries and useful information about the city of L'Aquila. The room is located inside a two-story cottage, entirely used as a bed and breakfast. The bathroom, outside the room and located at the entrance of the house, has been recently renovated and is clean. Breakfast like at home and comfortable. Recommended especially for groups of 4 people.

Lo Chalet di Ocre is located a stone's throw from L'Aquila and 30 minutes from Ovindoli and Campo Felice. A beautiful wooden chalet with a very comfortable common area with a sofa and TV. Very clean private bathroom (outside the room). The structure has two very nice views towards the mountains. The host is helpful, easy to contact, and ready to give you any advice or assistance. In the area, there are a couple of very nice restaurants. Excellent starting point for excursions or days in the snow. We will definitely come back.

Rarely have I found a lodging facility so well-kept and clean, I gladly used slippers at home to respect the wooden floor, the suite is beautiful and spacious with a comfortable bed as well as the bathroom, although outside the room but for exclusive use, stunning view of Mount Ocre that contributes, along with everything else, to make the stay special as far as I'm concerned. Congratulations for the perfect management, well done! I hope to return with the rest of the family soon.

I stayed a week in this property with my ten-year-old daughter. It was a wonderful holiday, not only for the breathtaking landscapes, excursions, food, but above all for the people we were fortunate to meet. One of these people was Igor from Lo Chalet di Ocre, a special and humane person who accompanied us throughout our vacation, advising us on what to do and see depending also on the weather. A person with a big heart who made our stay at Lo Chalet unforgettable, making us feel more at home there than in our own home. I thank Igor and his partner Lucia from the bottom of my heart, who with her delicious pastries made our breakfasts incomparable. An experience to be repeated as soon as possible, certainly with the arrival of snow. And even though I like to visit a different place every time, this time without a doubt I will return to Lo Chalet with Igor and Lucia.

A wonderful chalet located a few kilometers from the city of Aquila. Strategic location if you want to keep your distance from the city noises but at the same time not too far from it. A new and well-kept structure. Igor is very kind and available to meet guests' requests. He is an all-around athlete who organizes all kinds of activities both in summer and winter. Really beautiful structure. A real and proper Chalet with a breathtaking view of the mountains. Too bad for the manager who seemed kind on the phone but in the morning, when he came to serve breakfast, he had something to complain about everything, even about increasing the degrees of the room thermostat because according to him we were supposed to freeze to death. Not to mention the mockery shown, that he had guaranteed the proximity of his structure to 9 km from Campo Felice and the ski slopes. Unpleasant person.

Stefanelli ci dispiace che i 20 gradi non erano sufficienti all'interno di uno Chalet classe A energetica e che nonostante fosse presente un cartello rosso ben evidente con scritto non toccare lei abbia (senza nessun tipo di consultazione) pensato bene di agire in proprio, evidentemente non era abbastanza chiaro. Nessuno peraltro ha mai parlato della distanza da campo felice facilmente consultabile in automatico tramite google maps, lo strumento di navigazione più diffuso al mondo e di difficile confutazione. Evidenzierei peraltro che, in una struttura che non accetta animali, senza nessun tipo di comunicazione è stato usato il giardino e il porticato dello Chalet per il ristoro e il bisogno di 6 cani da slitta senza voler corrispondere nessun sovrapprezzo per la sanificazione (costata 50€ avendo una figlia allergica). Credo che le è andata di lusso l'"indisponenza"....Buona Vita!

I found a delightful chalet, newly furnished and equipped with everything. Welcoming at the arrival as if I were family. Everything very clean, impeccable bathroom. Very abundant breakfast and very kind host, I highly recommend it. For those who love the mountains and hiking or even for those who love cycling, it is the ideal place.

Struttura nuova e particolare: un vero chalet. Molto carino e curato benissimo anche il piccolo giardino, spazio molto apprezzato dalla mia cucciola. La gestione è attenta e tutto è molto curato. Veramente un soggiorno piacevole.

Il soggiorno presso lo chalet dello scorso we, in occasione del matrimonio di una coppia di amici, è stato davvero piacevole e rilassante. Struttura confortevole, comoda e pulitissima. Ambiente familiare. Colazione stile casalingo. Gestori gentili, cordiali e premurosi. Molto consigliato.

Baita tenuta in maniera impeccabile, servizi tutti a portata di mano, nulla è lasciato al caso. Massima accoglienza e cortesia nonché disponibilità del proprietario. Microclima interno ottimo, possibilità di parcheggio interno se necessario. La posizione della baita è in un paesino molto piccolo però si trova a pochi minuti da Campo Felice.

Soggiorna a San Felice Di Ocra è stato meraviglioso e accogliente. Abbiamo trascorso un paio di giorni di vacanza molto speciale, l'Abruzzo è fantastico e tutto intorno a San Felice di Ocre sono fascino unico e speciale. Il padrone di casa è molto accogliente e ordinato, la villa è ben posizionato e ha tutti i comfort.

Ho soggiornato due notti con la mia famiglia, siamo in cinque, e Igor ha riservato per noi tutto lo chalet! La struttura è fantastica: totalmente in legno, calda ed accogliente e con una vista fantastica sul Gran Sasso da un lato ed il monte Ocre imbiancato ed abbagliante al sole del mattino dall'altra. Non troppo lontano dalle piste di sci e ottimo punto di partenza per suggestive passeggiate in montagna. La passione e la conoscenza di Igor per la sua terra e le sue montagna hanno fatto da cornice a piacevolissime ed istruttive chiacchierate. Esperienza da ripetere in ogni stagione. Grazie Igor.

Un meraviglioso chalet di montagna tutto in legno, caldo e ospitale. Igor è un padrone di casa veramente ospitale e gentile. Lo consiglio caldamente a tutti quelli che vogliono visitare e conoscere gli Appennini abruzzesi.

Our stay at "Lo Chalet di Ocre" was perfect! Nice location - new, functional and beautiful B&B. Igor is the perfect host and gave us a lot of informations. We could store our bicycles in a safe place and Igor gave us a lift by car to reach a restaurant nearby since it was raining. Breakfast was opulent and tasty. Will be our first choice next time we go to Abruzzo.

Mi sono trovato a passare per il paesino di San Felice d'Ocre e dovendo effettuare una sosta prima di proseguire il viaggio, non ho resistito alla tentazione di provare l'esperienza di dormire in uno chalet completamente in legno. Il soggiorno è stato indimenticabile, pulizia perfetta, proprietario cordialissimo e pronto a fornire qualsiasi indicazione ed informazione su sentieri, piste da sci ed escursioni essendo un appassionato di montagna e, a suo dire, anche un provetto snowboard/alpinista. La colazione è abbondante ed il prezzo contenuto. Passando spesso da queste parti sicuramente avrò di nuovo l'occasione di soggiornare di nuovo presso questa accogliente struttura. Voto 10+.
