Description
Il Palazzo is a guesthouse with bed and breakfast on the second floor of Palazzo Parente, from the second half of the eighteenth century, with access from both Via Ciorla (Port of the Cross) that via Naples. Entrance to the parking lot from via Napoli. No elevator.

The property has six double rooms with private bathroom with shower and hairdryer, and there is the possibility of adding a third bed. They are furnished with antiques and overlooking the mountains surrounding the town.

The breakfast buffet is served in a large room with frescoed ceiling.

Structure located in a strategic position in the historic center but just a step away from the road leading to Villetta Barrea. Perfect, hospitable, helpful owner with an elegant management style. Comfortable, quiet, and cool rooms. Abundant breakfast in a beautiful setting (frescoed room). I will come back.

Perfect! Clean, spacious, and warm room with everything you need, very comfortable bed. In the city center with parking. Matilde, the owner, is very kind, making you feel comfortable with grace and sympathy.

Matilde's Palace is fantastic, I rate it 10 out of 10 for everything, welcoming, kindness, room and bathroom cleanliness, abundant breakfast, central location, private parking. Compared to other structures I have visited in previous years, this is the best in Scanno. I recommend it.

The rooms, located in an ancient palace, are spacious and furnished with antique furniture; there is a desk, armchair, TV, and kettle for tea; the large bathroom had a window. The breakfast room was decorated with frescoes and, also, in the anteroom, a portion of the ancient chapel was still visible. The location of the property is strategic because it is located in the historic center in the ZTL, but it has a convenient fenced parking that is closed in the evening. Great availability from the landlady, Mrs. Matilde. The only downside, to consider when booking, is that the rooms are located on the second floor so there are two flights of stairs.

Cerco di scriverlo su tutti i siti di prenotazione, ma a volte sono gli stessi gestori dei portali a mettere questa informazione tra quelle meno importanti con il rischio che gli ospiti non lo leggano. We stayed in a wonderful room at "Il Palazzo" and it had a nice space for us. The place was quiet, the breakfast was delicious, and the host was very friendly and welcoming. She provided us with good directions, parking was on private grounds. Our short time was perfect for us. Everything was very good. Great place to stay, we will be back. Thank you Matilde and Daniela.

Ho soggiornato per soli quattro giorni insieme a mio marito e alla piccola Erika. Ci siamo trovati benissimo, a partire dalla gentilezza di Francesca e Matilde, dalla posizione centralissima della struttura, dall'ottima colazione all'accurata pulizia delle stanze. Ho offerto un soggiorno in questa struttura ai miei genitori, i quali se ne sono dichiarati estremamente soddisfatti, sotto ogni profilo. Vi hanno trovato l'atmosfera del "buon tempo antico" unita ai comfort del moderno, oltre ad un'accoglienza raffinata e al tempo stesso cordialmente familiare. La camera, comodissima e ariosa, con solidi mobili d'epoca, offre il massimo del relax, il bagno è confortevolmente ampio e moderno. La posizione, nel pieno centro della vecchia Scanno è quanto mai suggestiva, così come la vista che si gode dalla sala della colazione, affacciata sul verde della montagna e sui tetti delle vecchie case. Un soggiorno consigliatissimo, sia per il riposo che per affrontare grintosi percorsi montani o per immergersi - come in questo caso - nel clima unico di manifestazioni sportive internazionali come la bella "XTerra Scanno".

This B&B was in a historic building, furnished with lovely antique furniture, was centrally located but quiet. The hosts were very sweet and efficient. The breakfast included a nice assortment of fruit, cereal, cakes, and beverages. There are restaurants nearby. Scanno is a very picturesque village, and Il Palazzo is a very comfortable and welcoming place to stay. Thank you.

Io e mia moglie ci abbiamo passato una sola notte, trovando il posto molto bello, tranquillissimo e la camera spaziosa e comoda. Ci ha soprattutto colpito l'accoglienza da parte della proprietaria Francesca che ci ha trattati come se fossimo vecchi amici, a differenza delle grandi strutture dove il personale, benché efficiente, in genere dimostra un certo distacco.

Io e mio marito vi abbiamo trascorso un piacevolissimo fine settimana. Il B&B è molto ben curato ed ha un'ottima ubicazione con parcheggio privato. Tantissima ospitalità e gentilezza. Possibilità di parcheggio interno; un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo e soprattutto tanta pulizia. Ho scelto il solo pernottamento, quindi ho usufruito della sola colazione: abbondante e squisita, con dolci fatti in casa e vasta scelta. Consiglio vivamente di trascorrerci almeno una notte.
