"La Via del Volano” Room&Breakfast is located in Codigoro in the province of Ferrara along the river Po di Volano in the north-east of the Po Delta Park in Emilia Romagna.
Navigation along the River Po had always played an important role in the history and culture of this territory, therefore many vessels used to sail the river Po carrying food and goods. Today we can go along the same routes following fascinating and unchanged itineraries. Our Room&Breakfast “La Via del Volano” – which is right in the heart of the Po Delta Park established in 1988 by Emilia Romagna Region - suggests visiting these extraordinary landscapes whose original environment is still well preserved and protected.
SLOW TOURISM
“La Via del Volano” is an ideal starting point for nature lovers, photographers and birdwatchers.
The river course, starting from the dock of Codigoro up to the open sea, the so called sea area Sacca di Goro, is a marvellous trip among the impenetrable reeds and the “bilancioni”- small typical fishermen’s houses on the river bank. The river flows under the highway Romea, at Passo Pomposa, where it is possible to admire the bell tower of the famous Abbey, and it goes on between the Oasi di Canneviè and Valle Bertuzzi. It finally reaches the sea completing its course in the sea area which includes Lido di Volano and a strip of land also known as Isola dell’Amore (Island of Love). The Lagoons of Comacchio and Mesola Wood are also ideal places for excursions.
THE BUILDING
“La Via del Volano” is a new building whose construction follows our philosophy of environmental sustainability. It is a high-efficiency building exploiting solar energy. Thanks to the biological plasters of the inner spaces, guests can stay in a healthy and comfortable location.
There are 4 rooms with a private bathroom - one of them equipped for disabled people -, a comfortable breakfast room, a private parking area and a big sunny terrace with deckchairs and tables where guests can relax.
OUR OFFERS
We offer B&B stay, preferring local products for breakfast, and agreements with typical restaurants and shops, bikes rental, naturalistic trips by boat, by bicycle or on foot to the Po Delta Park and guided tours to places of historic interest that the Estense family belonged a few centuries ago. Italian and foreign tourists can easily find information about the territory visiting our info-point. We would be also glad to help and advise them for any kind of trips in this suggestive territory through our Italian/English/ Spanish-speaking staff. Our guests’ pets are welcome with microchip and health card.

I would like to start by saying that if I could, I would have given much more than 10. Lisa and Lorenzo are two kind, genuine people ready to help you in any situation. The property is newly built and very well-maintained, with large and very functional rooms. But the truly sensational thing is the breakfast managed by Lisa. Homemade cakes made by her are not just good, they are much more. We have now come back for the third time and it has become our point of reference for a holiday in the Ferrara beaches and in the valleys of Comacchio. Thank you guys for your professionalism and kindness, we felt like part of the family. See you soon.

The structure is almost new and very nice. Everything is very clean. The place for the car in the garden. The structure is not far from the center of this small town and close to the main roads.

Recensione da dieci e lode per la pulizia delle camere e della struttura, i gestori sono eccellenti sempre gentili, disponibili, ottime guide turistiche per illustrarti le bellezze dei luoghi, sembra di essere in famiglia con amici. Lo consiglio a tutti ne resterete soddisfatti sicuramente senza nessuna brutta sorpresa. Colazione ottima ed abbondante con torte fatte in casa di una bontà unica e con prodotti di primissima qualità. Noi è il secondo anno che veniamo e pensiamo di ritornarci. Camera "Le Valli" spaziosa con bagno ampio, pulitissimo e funzionale ed angolo cottura (frigorifero, piastra ad induzione, lavello, tutto nuovissimo).
Pulizia perfetta in tutta la struttura.
Cucina luminosa e molto accogliente, colazione abbondante e di qualità a scelta (i gestori chiedono anche il giorno prima che cosa si preferisca per poter acquistare tutto il fresco, dolce e salato, torte fresche con ingredienti di stagione).
Gestione familiare accogliente e molto competente; i gestori conoscono bene e valorizzano il territorio in cui è contestualizzata la struttura, facendo conoscere tutte le possibilità di esplorarlo a seconda degli interessi degli ospiti. Inglese perfettamente parlato. Gestione certificata per celiaci.
Vicinanza a musei storici ed artistici, itinerari naturalistici sorprendenti.
Posizione a 10 minuti dal mare e soli 5 minuti dal Parco Riserva naturale Delta del Po. 45 minuti da Mirabilandia ed altri parchi acquatici.
Struttura ecologica nell'edilizia e nella gestione (detersivi, prodotti personali, energia rinnovabile, raccolta differenziata) premiata da Legambiente.

Ho alloggiato in questo B&B con mio Papà. Stanza per disabili nuova, ben pensata, posteggio davanti alla camera accessibile con rampa, Stanza spaziosa con ampio bagno e box doccia!
E per iniziare bene la giornata, ottima colazione dolce salata. Di sicuro se ne avrò bisogno ci ritornerò sicuramente.

Abbiamo soggiornato una sola notte. Peccato. Il B&B è molto bello e nuovissimo. Tutti gli ambienti sono pulitissimi ordinati ed arredati con gusto. La colazione abbondante e curata. Lisa e Lorenzo, i proprietari, sono molto carini e ci hanno fatto sentire subito a nostro agio. Consiglio senz'altro questa struttura.

Ciao siamo Giovanni e Ivana, volevamo dare anche noi il nostro contributo alla recensione della Via del Volano, a favore di Lorenzo e Lisa, ottimi e gentilissimi gestori. Pur avendo soggiornato solo una notte, ci siamo subito resi conto che il posto meritava senz'altro un prolungamento della nostra piccola vacanza. Camere molto colorate e curate, pulitissimo, colazioni a base di prodotti locali con attenzione ai problemi di chi può avere intolleranze alimentari. Tra i posti in cui siamo stati, questo merita di essere citato fra i migliori, se possibile torneremo senz'altro.

La struttura è nuovissima e accogliente, con camere pulite e confortevoli. Comodo anche per pernottamenti lunghi. I proprietari sono veramente gentili, sempre disponibili e calorosi, sembra quasi di essere a casa. Buonissime torte per la colazione e prodotti di qualità.
Il tutto rende la permanenza veramente piacevole.

Struttura completamente nuova, con camere arredate bene con bagni spaziosi, pulizia accurata.
Tv, aria condizionata, armadi spaziosi, biancheria nuova e tutto coordinato, si vede che la proprietà è attenta ai dettagli.
Sala colazione molto carina dove si ha la possibilità di scegliere in base ai propri gusti cosa mangiare con ampia scelta. A completare il quadro gestori davvero molto cortesi e disponibili. Che dire di più, ci tornerò senz'altro, è davvero un rapporto qualità/prezzo che mi ha lasciato molto soddisfatto.
