Description
Bed & Breakfast Casa Dotti is located near the Arch of Meloncello, architectural masterpiece by Carlo Francesco Dotti (1732).

The neighbourhood is quiet and tree-lined. You can travel to the historical center of the city or railway station in just a few minutes by bus or taxi, or if you like on foot.

If you come to Bologna by car or bicycle, there is free parking in our courtyard. B&B Casa Dotti has a separate entrance; private bathroom; the bright bedroom has twin beds and, if you need one, there’s also a comfortable chair-bed. We change linens twice a week. You can use the washing machine if you stay more than one week.

In the kitchen/living room —where you can relax on a large sofa bed— you can use the fridge, microwave oven, toaster, kettle and an Italian espresso coffee maker.

We serve vegan breakfast or special breakfast for wheatless diet, if you request it. Near our B&B there are traditional restaurants, pizzerias, and restaurants with vegetarian or vegan cuisine but also supermarkets, spas, walking paths and the stadium, if you like football/soccer.

Discreet, precise, honest with prices. The location is perfect for those who need to stop in Bologna, but close enough to parks and nature. Marvel and I had a great time and recommend it!

Kind and super helpful owner, the value for money is excellent and the room is very spacious. The breakfast is decent and the area is quiet, so you can sleep well, despite the somewhat "noisy" building.

Our stay in the apartment was really pleasant. It is located in a calm neighborhood, right next to the longest portico in Bologna that starts at Porta Saragozza and leads up to the Sanctuary of the Madonna di San Luca. You can get to the city center easily on foot or you can take the bus (a bus station can be found very close to the apartment). The host was really nice and the check-in and check-out procedures were fairly easy. The apartment is very clean and spacious.

The accommodation is nice and well maintained, very clean. The center is reachable with a half-hour walk or very easily by bus, the bus stop is a minute away from the B&B. The gentleman who welcomed us was kind and helpful. He offered good advice on restaurants and places to visit. The croissants served at breakfast are really good, and every morning new ones with different flavors are served.

I stayed for 3 nights at the property and I had a great time. The manager waited for me until 10:00 PM on the day of my arrival by train from Alessandria, so he was very helpful. The breakfast was excellent and abundant. The room and everything else were tidy and super clean. I got a bit confused with the booking because there was a different price and then (fair period) I paid another amount. Still, a valid place especially for the tranquility of the street full of greenery.

The room with attached kitchen and bathroom is decent and fairly clean. The attached reserved parking space is an undeniable advantage in the near center of Bologna. Regarding the insufficient rating given to breakfast, I specify that it stems from the lack of attention to hygiene, as it is not acceptable to have breakfast with ceramic utensils and cups and not disposable ones; it is unacceptable that milk, coffee, and fruit juice are served in containers whose cleanliness cannot be guaranteed. The owner/manager was very friendly and respectful.

Lionetti, forse dovevo dirglielo ma tutte le stoviglie, vista l'emergenza attuale, così come le superfici in comune, in cucina, nel bagno e in camera da letto vengono PULITE e SANIFICATE con prodotti appositi e sicuri. Ogni volta che un cliente lascia il B&B. Mi sembrava inutile avvertirla, visto che siamo rispettosi e ligi a riguardo della conduzione, vista l'emergenza attuale. Preferiamo pulire che non mettere a disposizione dei clienti inutili posate e plastica monouso che inquina molto di più. Anche i contenitori della colazione vengono lavati e puliti, come nei bar. A suo sfavore, direi, che non è stato attento a vestire la mascherina quando Le portavo la colazione o quando ci incrociavamo nella struttura. Cosa che io puntualmente ho rispettato. E se vogliamo menzionare tutto, le ho anche fornito assistenza e medicinali per sua moglie che stava poco bene, ad un'ora tarda. Avrei potuto semplicemente indicarle via messaggio la farmacia più vicina. Distinti saluti.

Gestore garbato e discreto, struttura così curata e con tutti i confort che mi sono sentita a casa. Si può dormire in assoluta tranquillità e la zona è molto bella. Colazione puntuale e abbondante, fermate dei bus vicinissime per chi non è in macchina. Centro città raggiungibile anche a piedi. Un posto che mi sento di consigliare sinceramente. (N. B. In occasione dei campionati italiani di tennis, io e mia figlia abbiamo soggiornato presso questa struttura, e quello che mi ha colpito di più è stata la pulizia, fresco anche senza aria condizionata e comodo perché vicino al centro, gestore molto gentile.

Ambienti molto puliti e igienici, ben arredati, clima accogliente e posizione strategica. Abbiamo particolarmente apprezzato la comodità e la vicinanza ai mezzi pubblici (bus 20 e d) e in primo luogo la disponibilità estrema dei gestori, i quali ci hanno attesi con pazienza nonostante l'ora di ritardo causata da uno sciopero improvviso dei mezzi. La loro cordialità ci ha permesso di soggiornare all'interno della struttura in un contesto quasi familiare. Costo relativamente basso in cambio di un servizio impeccabile, consiglio ai visitatori di questo sito di di alloggiare in questa struttura, in particolare coloro in cerca di un luogo adatto ad una fuga romantica e ringrazio i proprietari per l'accoglienza.

Veramente un ottimo luogo se si vuole visitare Bologna a quindici minuti a piedi dal centro storico, in una zona tranquillissima. ottima struttura e ottima la persona che gestisce questo B&B gentilezza e cordialità oltre alla qualità della struttura.
