"All’Ombra di San Damiano" is a hospitality establishment located in a farmhouse featuring ancient stone walls, exposed wooden beam ceilings, and vintage terracotta floors. It has been fully renovated and is earthquake-resistant, equipped with all modern conveniences. The name comes from the nearby San Damiano Convent, one of the most significant sites in the history of the Franciscan foundation, where the crucifix spoke to Saint Francis.
Situated on a hill at the edge of Assisi, it is only 300 meters from the San Damiano Convent, easily reachable by foot, and just 1. 5 km (5 minutes by car) from the historic center of Assisi.
