In the heart of Ortigia’s historic centre, just a few steps from the traditional local market, we offer comfortable and affordable accommodation in Syracuse, an ideal base for discovering the beauty of eastern Sicily.
The B&B is directly accessible by car without passing through Ortigia’s ZTL (Limited Traffic Zone) access points. Parking is available nearby, both free and paid, as well as at the Talete car park, just a short walk from the property.
The B&B has two individually and tastefully furnished rooms, each equipped with air conditioning, a TV, free Wi-Fi and a private en-suite bathroom. Breakfast is not included in the stay.

Guests can use a shared lounge where they can relax, read and consult local information, maps, books and board games. Cyclists can also make use of a dedicated bicycle storage area.
The central location makes it easy to explore the island’s narrow streets, historic market, monuments and waterfront on foot. The various sea access points around the island of Ortigia are also within walking distance.
HOLIDAY APARTMENT
Casa del Corso is a comfortable apartment on the first floor of a 1930s building, in an exceptionally central location on Ortigia’s main street, just a few steps from the B&B.
The apartment consists of an entrance hall, a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with shower and two spacious double bedrooms, with the option of an additional bed. Both bedrooms have ceiling fans, while one also has air conditioning. The apartment also features a relaxation area with armchairs, Wi-Fi, a TV and a clothes-drying rack.
A bicycle storage area is available for touring cyclists. The building’s rooftop terrace has a small sunbathing area with spectacular views over Ortigia’s rooftops and the sea.
The rate includes bed linen, cleaning, weekly linen changes, all utilities and final cleaning.

I am an Environmental Hiking Guide and have known the territory of eastern Sicily for many years. For those who enjoy walking and spending time in nature, the areas around Syracuse offer spectacular canyons, plateaus, protected natural areas and landscapes of great interest, from the Hyblaean Mountains to Mount Etna.
The area is also well known for sport climbing, with limestone crags in the Hyblaean Mountains and the Climiti Mountains.
