CERVIGNANO DEL FRIULI:
Cervignano is a charming city that can be easily visited on foot, and where the B&B Velocipede is centrally located. The beautiful riverside, the church of San Michele, the Bresciani Chapel with its medieval wooden crucifix, Independence Square with its restaurants and cafes, and Roma Street with its shops are all within a few minutes' walk. Aquileia and Palmanova can be reached by car in a few minutes and easily by bicycle. Grado and its beaches are located 15 km away. The medieval village of Strassoldo, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy where Field Marshal Radetzky got married and lived for a long time, is only 3 km away. All tourist attractions can be reached by public transport. The train station is 800 meters from the B&B Velocipede, and the bus station is 50 meters away.
TRIESTE AIRPORT:
Trieste Airport is only 13 km away from B&B Velocipede and can be easily reached by train. The Trieste Airport stop is the first one after Cervignano-Aquileia-Grado and can be reached in just 8 minutes. The stop goes directly to the airport, and by walking through a covered pedestrian walkway, you can reach the Passenger Terminal in 4 minutes. The ticket cost is €2. 50, and connections are frequent.
BUS FROM 4: 54 AM:
Another interesting option for those who need to catch an early morning flight is a bus ride departing in front of the train station at 4: 54 in the morning and reaching Trieste Airport in 10 minutes. The Passenger Terminal can be reached from the airport bus station in 4 minutes, and the ticket cost is €3. 50. Please note that this bus only operates from Monday to Saturday; it does not run on Sundays and holidays. It is recommended to check the schedules on the Tpl. Fvg and Trenitalia apps before planning your trip.
ALPE ADRIA CYCLE PATH RADWEG:
Cyclists are welcome here, and we offer a place for bicycles and the possibility to charge their e-bikes for free. Many of our cycling guests use the Cervignano-Aquileia-Grado station, which is a 10-minute walk from our B&B Velocipede, to reach Tarvisio or Salzburg with their bicycles. Others use the Austrian shuttle service FAHRRAD TRANSFER, which upon request picks up cyclists and their bikes in front of our B&B Velocipede.
